Our Story
Interested in Music Education? QUSMEA is an organization dedicated to promoting music education within the Queen's and Kingston community. We are a part of the Concurrent Education Students' Association (CESA) and are completely open to everyone in ALL faculties!
Here's what we're up to this year:
-We offer monthly Professional Development workshops and socials with topics related to the music education world. We have some exciting ideas coming to you this year and these will be announced on this page!
-We also offer opportunities to get involved in the community through volunteering in local high schools, and also through a music program in the Queen's Daycare. Let us know if you are interested.
- Every November, we facilitate a trip to the OMEA conference. It is an amazing opportunity to network with other teachers, learn from the workshops, and enjoy a musical weekend. Bursaries are available!
So give us a like and stay tuned to this page for more information (get it?) :)
Lots of musical love,
