We're excited to launch the Real Estate Ethics Index, a revolutionary tool developed in partnership with UrbanSense. At REIC, our mission is to ensure that every Canadian can benefit from the highest standards of professionalism in real estate, and this Index is designed to deliver just that.

Reflecting on an enriching day of insights and connections at last Wednesday's Calgary VIP Building Tours & Lunch and Learn event! 🏙️ From exploring the exquisite Hull Estates to delving into the historical marvels of Fairmont Palliser with historians Harry Sanders and Darryl Cariou, it was a journey through Calgary's architectural wonders. The Lunch and Learn session featuring Daniel Aleksov, Co-Founder and Principal at Leading Edge Building Engineers, was a special highlight. His detailed overview and engaging case studies of water leak assessments were not just insightful but also crucial for modern building management.

Last Thursday was a memorable day spent in Calgary, where REIC members and industry leaders gathered to celebrate the value of collaboration and ethical standards in real estate! From a VIP-guided tour of Boardwalk's Richmond Towers, a well-established community that offers a dynamic living experience, to an insightful evening of networking at The Dorian Hotel, we all agreed that the future of real estate lies in partnerships and working together. 🏢 🤝 🎉

In the evening, Cynthia DeDeugd, President of the Calgary Chapter, and Yolanta Scott, National Board Member, presented Neil Fawcett with his President Pin for 2023-24.

We want to extend a special thank you to the Calgary Chapter, the Calgary Real Estate Board, Sotheby's International Realty Canada, the Alberta Real Estate Foundation, Boardwalk Properties, and the twenty organizations represented in the group. Your efforts made this day possible and served as a reminder of the importance of community and professionalism!

Yesterday, we were joined by students from MacEwan University’s Property Management Minor program and MacEwan University Real Estate Club on a building tour of 103 Street Centre in downtown Edmonton. A big shoutout to Cameron Martin and Adrian Reynolds for leading the tour and showing us around the impressive facilities: tenant lounge and gym, parkade, bike storage, meeting rooms, mechanical room, and upgrades for tenants! 🏢 👏

Afterwards, we had a fantastic networking lunch at MacEwan University. It was a pleasure to have Barry Williams, Dr. Mike Annett, and Business School Dean Richard Perlow join us. Special thank you to Joseph Rubay and Winnie Tran from the Edmonton Chapter and Cynthia DeDeugd from the Calgary Chapter for joining us and representing REIC! 😊

We have some exciting news to share with you! We are thrilled to introduce our newly appointed Senior Management Team.
