YOU WANT THINGS, BUT YOU CANNOT HAVE THEM

You want things, but you cannot have them, so you are ready to kill; you strongly desire things, but you cannot get them, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have what you want because you do not ask God for it. And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.

GROWTH IN THE GRACE

Christian brothers, we ask you, because of the Lord Jesus, to keep on living in a way that will please God. I have already told you how to grow in the Christian life. (1 Thessalonians 4:1 NLV)

GOSSIP

Do not go around saying things that hurt your people. Do not do things against the life of your neighbor. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:16 NLV)

WE ALL EXPERIENCE FEAR. DO WE TRY TO DEAL WITH IT OURSELVES, OR DO WE LET JESUS DEAL WITH IT?

But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified.
Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” (Mark 6:49-50 NIV)

IF YOU DON'T GIVE YOUR OFFERINGS AND TITHES TO THE LORD, HE WILL PENALIZE YOU!

“‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. Whoever would redeem any of their tithe must add a fifth of the value to it. Every tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod—will be holy to the Lord. No one may pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If anyone does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.’”
These are the commands the Lord gave Moses at Mount Sinai for the Israelites. (Leviticus 27:30-34 NIV)

A SITUATION THAT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE WITH HUMAN MEANS IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD

Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.”
But he answered, “You give them something to eat.”
They said to him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?” (Mark 6:36-37 NIV)

SAY AND DO WHAT IS RIGHT

You can survive if you say and do what is right. Don't use your power to cheat the poor and don't accept bribes. Don't join with those who plan to commit murder or to do other evil things. Then you will be safe; you will be as secure as if in a strong fortress. You will have food to eat and water to drink. (Isaiah 33:15-16 GNT)

HOW GREAT THE LORD IS!

How great the Lord is! He rules over everything. He will fill Jerusalem with justice and integrity and give stability to the nation. He always protects his people and gives them wisdom and knowledge. Their greatest treasure is their reverence for the Lord. (Isaiah 33:5-6 GNT)

LORD, HAVE MERCY ON US

Lord, have mercy on us. We have put our hope in you. Protect us day by day and save us in times of trouble. When you fight for us, nations run away from the noise of battle. (Isaiah 33:2-3 GNT)

CONFESS IT WITH YOUR MOUTH

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10 NKJV)

YOUR GENEROSITY WILL BE REWARDED

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. (2 Corinthians 9:11-12 NIV)

GOD PROMISES TO BLESS CHILDREN WHO HONOR THEIR PARENTS
