A very meaningful tour where history comes alive and stories are told. It was a great opportunity for the Green Earth Daycare children to see in person the former residence of the Lieutenant Governor and discover hidden treasures on every side. Thank you Government House - Saskatchewan๐
Thank you Regina Police Centre! ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ป
An unforgettable personal learning experience for Green Earth Daycare preschools as they visited Regina Police Centre. Children met our city Police Officers and had an engaging opportunity to talk and learn from them the significance of what our Police Officers continually do to keep our community safe for everyone.
We all salute you!๐
Thank you Regina Fire Fighter Department! ๐จ๐ปโ๐๐ง๐ผโ๐
We are thankful to the opportunity to have an up close and memorable learning interaction with the Regina Firefighter team last Friday. Green Earth Daycare children were so thrilled to see these firefighters in uniforms as they shared to them an educational talk about "Learn Not to Burn". Children were taught about the importance of fire safety, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and what to do in case of fire emergencies. ๐ฅ
Thank you so much to everyone who stepped up to help out Brianna! She has been able to get enough furniture and things to make her new apartment her home!
Can you help Brianna? If so, contact Nathan @ 306-531-2241 or by email at [email protected]
Growing plants is a wonderful lesson and activity that shows children how nutritious foods get to the table. This is always a great way to kick off this season! We are so glad that Green Earth Daycare provides this hands-on experience to children. This makes summer gardening activity exciting!๐ฑ
Green Earth Daycare Preschoolers visited the Royal Saskatchewan Museum last Friday. It was a great and fun experience for these little ones! They played with the giant Tyrannosaurus Rex named Megamunch and learned about the life of the ancient aboriginal people of Saskatchewan and beyond. This added such depth to the fun and experience they had!๐
Today was the grand opening of the common room in our senior's building, Porter Place. This is a space for our tenants to come, have a coffee, watch a hockey game, play board games, and call their own. Thank you to our donors who made this possible.
The preschoolers at Green Earth Daycare had so much fun today! They had their first field trip of the year and these young minds couldn't hide their excitement when they explored the various exhibits and activities at Saskatchewan Science Centre! ๐ก๏ธ๐๐งช
