Chiropractic visits are a family affair!
This little cutie is 5 days old and getting her first tuneup. Yesterday the whole family had a turn on the table.
When was your last adjustment?
Are you looking for new ways to use your at home?! Do you have neck tension? Do you work in front of a computer? Are you a new parent, holding, feeding and gazing at your new bundle of joy? Then this exercise is for you!
Step 1: Begin by laying on your back on a mat. Keep your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent. Place the toted balls (set of 2) just below the base of your cranium. Take a deep breath in and out.
Step 2: Slowly roll your neck in a mini-nod action, hinging your cranium over the balls. Take a deep breath in and out. Repeat 3 times.
Happy rolling!

It’s officially here! Say hello to my new favourite thing… Tuneup Fitness Therapy Balls.
I fell in love with them when I grabbed a pair from one of my RMT friends. So much so that I decided to incorporate them into my practice.
They are a tool that you can use at home or at the office to help unwind tension in your body & muscles. If you’re looking for a fun & easy way to release tension all over your body, look no further.
Do you have tight hamstrings or glutes? Do you sit at a desk or are you pregnant and feeling pain in your butt? Try this seated rollout exercise and your discomfort will melt away.
The key to rolling out tension with these balls is “less is more”. As you use the balls notice where you feel tension, tune in to your body.
Interested in getting a pair? They are stocked at Thrive Health or DM me for more info.
Happy rolling!
It’s . I have to say it’s one of my favourite things when patients take the time to share their positive experience about their time in the office. To me it’s the modern day version of a note. And who isn’t excited about a thank you note?!
✨Babies! ✨
This week was extra fun because my schedule was packed full with babies.
🤫don’t tell all my patients (😉)but they are definitely in my top favourites to work with. Just take a look at this cutie here and you’ll get a sense of why.
is safe, gentle & effective and has a whole lot of benefits for kids of all ages.
Chiropractic during pregnancy? Yes, yes and yes!
Getting regular adjustments during your pregnancy is safe, gentle and there are many benefits for both mom & baby.
A women’s body goes through an incredible amount of physiological changes during and after a pregnancy. Regular chiropractic adjustments can help the body adapt to these changes and address common musculoskeletal complaints. In addition, adjustments help establish healthy pelvic balance, which can help the baby get in the best possible position for birth.
Need I say more?!
Happy Mother’s Day to me ☺️
This is your reminder to check in with your body. What is it telling you?
Our posture says a lot. And it’s more than just sitting up straight! Your posture can impact your mood, digestion, your ability to take a deep breath and overall have an impact on how your body feels.
Try this test:
Step 1: Round forward in your chair. Soften, slouch or slump forward. Tune in to your body. Try and take a deep breath in. Pay attention to how that feels.
Step 2: Sit up tall. Bring your eye gaze forward. Tune in to your body. Take a deep breath in. Connect with your breath.
Now compare the two postures. Notice the impact your posture has on your breath. Did you notice a big difference?
If sitting up “straight” was painful, uncomfortable or you noticed it was difficult to do, it’s likely a great reminder that your spine could use a tune up.
Chiropractic adjustments introduce specific healthy movement to the spine, that help you and your body move better.
A healthy spine = healthy posture
Heck yeah!
Being a family chiropractor I see patients of all ages: adults, teenagers, moms & dads, grandparents, kids and babies too!
At what age should you bring your kid to a chiropractor? No one is ever too young or too old to be adjusted. Truthfully, it’s more about when parents are comfortable bringing them in. In my opinion, the earlier the better as there is a lot of growth & development that happens in the first 2 years of life. But no matter the age, chiropractic care can help kids of all ages function at their best!
Want to know my new favourite snack???
It’s tasty, sweet, packed full of fiber, antioxidants, has protein and it’s hydrating too.
Say hello to .
If you’re a regular in the office you know I talk a lot about hydration. But it’s not just about drinking water. You can also hydrate by picking foods that have a high water content.
Banana, pomegranate, avocado, pear, grapes, blueberries, apple, pineapple, pomelo, tomato and watermelon are great foods to help with hydration.
As we move in to warmer temperatures (yay!) try to reach for more of these foods to keep your body hydrated.
We’ve added a new treatment to the office…a chiropractic adjustment followed by a puppy massage 😜
Running a family practice typically involves moms, dads, kids, grandparents and me moving around the adjustment room. Yesterday we welcomed this little cutie into the mix and she patiently watched as her family got their wellness adjustments.
It’s so I thought I would share a post about my own health journey with a . I was diagnosed with in the summer of 2016. I was lucky to get a from my sister in October 2016.
This photo was taken shortly after…I’m sipping on prune juice 😆 Ask me what 16 different medications does to your gut health.
This is your monday reminder that life is full of ups and (big) downs but you can overcome anything life throws at you with a positive attitude, determination and hope.
Big thanks to all the people that supported me along the way. I truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Life is truly what you make of it ✨
In honour of Valentine’s Day (& my birthday 🎉) I thought I’d share just a few reasons why I ❤️ my job…
-I get to help people feel better
-In a days work I get the opportunity to work/play with newborns, babies, toddlers, teenagers, moms, pregnant belly’s, dads and grandparents…it’s a lot of fun
-when I’m at the office I’m constantly moving….you know how I feel about movement right? It’s everything!
-the human body is fascinating. Everyone gets a different adjustment and different care plan. So it constantly keeps me on my toes, finding the right solution for each individual patient. Chiropractic is truly a combination of philosophy, science and art!
Have you booked in for a chiropractic adjustment lately?
It’s . Check out this fabulous review from a mom and baby.
Did you know chiropractic care is great for the whole family? Our alignment starts early on in life and I truly believe we’d be healthier adults if some of our structural issues were addressed at a younger age.
When I’m at the office I see people of all ages: newborns, babies, toddlers, kids, teenagers, young adults, parents and grandparents too!
I ❤️ when patients share their positive experience at the office!! Comment below your favourite post adjustment feeling 👇🏻

P.s. I think I’ve been standing in this posture my whole life 🤣
glad it’s Monday 😁
I love coffee but I’m always up for trying new things. For me, health isn’t always about making drastic life changes but picking small things that move you towards a healthier lifestyle. Lately, I’ve been switching up my coffee and trading it in for a matcha coconut milk latte.
Why matcha?
-it’s full of antioxidants
-boosts the metabolism
-rich in fiber and chlorophyll (and you know how I feel about chlorophyll 😍)
-energy booster
-detoxes the body
What’s in your cup?
Mondays are for movement.
Raise your hand if you’re feeling the January funk 🙋🏻♀️. For me, one of the best mood boosters is to move my body.
If you’re having trouble getting moving I suggest picking something that feels good for YOU. It can be anything: walking, a workout video or simply put on your favourite song and dance. Try starting small, 10-15 minutes a day and then build from there. Once you get going, you’re going to find yourself craving more movement. Movement is life ✨

Happy new year! Yes, it’s January 20th (p.s. my little guy turns 8 today!), so I might be a little late but we had a bit of a bumpy start to the year. Wishing everyone good health, happiness and more belly laughs.
Let’s play a game: ✨2 Truths & a Lie✨
1. I’m left handed
2. I have 2 tattoos and another one in the works
3. My fav go to drink is a tall glass of chlorophyll water
Can you guess which one is the lie? Comment below 👇🏻

Happy Halloween 🎃
It’s my mama’s birthday today 🎉 She would have been 73. Even though she’s been gone for over 21 years now, not a day goes by that I don’t think about her 💗💗💗 #💗
Today is a big day for me. It’s been 5 years since my bone marrow transplant. 🎉 My healing journey was a bumpy ass ride but I’m proud and happy to say I did it! I got through an extremely challenging and arduous period in my life. Today I’m healthy, happy and thankful for everyone who was a part of my healing journey. 💗💗💗
