A week in pics!
The bweek started with Ride London 100 miler in closed roads from London to Essex & back. As my 6th Ride London it was the most eventful!! Pics of us 3 Amigas finishing with smiles doesn’t tell the story but shows we got across the finish in style!!
The rest of the week I was too engrossed to snap shots and a shorter bank holiday/half term week, BUT I had some awesome sessions that I loved!
Including a session practising triathlon transitions for a buggyfit mum newly turned triathlete 🏊🏻♀️🚴♀️🏃🏽♀️who is off to The Blenheim Palace Triathlon tomorrow for her Tri debut!!

I was invited to speak at Long Crendon Church today about the importance of strength training into and throughout the older years!
I just read someone elses post which was asking her followers why they can’t run and as you can imagine the comments were humbling, sad, and thought provoking! (Also a little depressing as it appears some are not seeking alternatives)
I don’t run, it’s painful since my last hip replacement (2019) didn’t go to plan and I can’t work out biomechanically why this is…..
BUT it has absolutely taught me to focus on what I CAN do and I CAN cycle … for miles and miles (great mates and cake helps) and I CAN walk with friends, I CAN strength train and I CAN do Pilates and I CAN do adapted yoga oh and I COULD swim if I could be arsed😂😂😂 (can’t chat under water- that’s my excuse!!)
So my message-
As our bodies change and we get older sometimes we need to slightly adapt our exercise choices and that is fine!!!
