Congratulations to all our runners from the Belfast Marathon 2023 in aid of the International Justice Mission. We are so proud of all the efforts of each and every one of you. Rain or shine, you powered through!

Our four teams have raised £2,702.81 in total. We seek to make any effort to fuel the work of IJM. Slavery should not exist in 2023-but millions worldwide are trapped in slavery RIGHT NOW.

Together, we can bring people to safety and protect children, women, and men from ever experiencing slavery and violence in the first place.

Nominations for the Students Against Human Trafficking Committee 2023-2024 are now available!

Do you want to fight modern-day slavery, collect funds, and increase awareness about human trafficking? Do you want to spread kindness and help heal the world? Give yourself the chance to learn more and gain more experience about how students can fight human trafficking. Nominate yourself for a position on the SAHT committee for the years 2023–2024.

There are four open vacancies! There is just one opening per position!

The nomination period runs from March 27th through March 31st. (Balancing your studies is a significant responsibility and commitment. We hope you carefully evaluate the requirements of the position you are applying for.)

We encourage all candidates to use the SAHT pages in their election campaigning. We will make every effort to re-post all manifestos. The voting session is from the 4th to the 6th of April. (Please keep in mind that only registered members can vote on the SU page.)

Our first welcome event - A social mixer and Human trafficking information workshop will take place next Tuesday on the 22nd of November at the Hub Belfast, 22 Elmwood Avenue, starting at 8:30.

We will have a guest speaker, Hannah Elliot from International Justice Mission to talk about the work of IJM, and provide us with an introduction into modern slavery. This will also be a great chance to meet as a society, and get to know each other with follow-up drinks at the Parlour after the event!

If you have not already paid membership, it is £3, and sign-up will be available on the night, please bring cash if you would like to become member.
All are welcome, we hope to see you there!

Thank you to all our runners for the fundraising efforts in support of the International Justice Mission organisation. We were able to raise £1,367 through generous donations!

Welcome to the newly established Students Against Human Trafficking Society at Queen's University Belfast. Our club/society will be able to give students across many different pathways the opportunity to pursue their passion to combat human trafficking, violence against women and children, and police abuse against the poor. We aim to create awareness of current, global issues and start the conversation against such a taboo issue. Students will be able to raise funds to support International Justice Mission.

We are now open to anyone seeking to be a member or to support our society, please dm us.
