We r 2 weeks from starting term 6 of Weighhts progression
Strength training for every day fitness to tone and strengthen plus if u like support your runnning. Why not give it a go
As you know John is the weight gym king 👑: weights, repetition and mixing up sessions . With strength stability and mobility at the core of his workouts. Me: I’m more about variety, simplicity and getting outside (to run). The thing is, both perspectives are good and can met the public health guidelines 5 x30 minutes sessions in the week. However being fixed in one discipline over the other isn’t the best way to train. So John and I have been mixing things up. Using his knowledge and attention to detail with my drive to be better at running and improving knee drive, arm strength and stability. This has created weight progression programs. 60 seconds work and 30 seconds rest with a polisher at the end. It’s using exercises you know and combining them so you can achieve more than you could yesterday. Below is a snap shot of the polisher. It’s fast and comes at the end to build stamina for when you need it

Then you in luck our couch to weights programme starts 16th January. 6 weeks upper body legs and core routine from 7pm Tuesday and Thursday nights. If you can make the class great if not you can replay class when it suits you.

Weight Progression trial week starts 6th December and takes you through to January
Wp60:30:3 is a strength and conditioning program of 6 weeks based around 5 different exercises for 60 seconds 30 seconds recovery and 3 rounds. Tuesday is All over body and Thursday is Core - great for building stability and a base for normal life or other training you want to do. Please pm for further details
