A little bit about starting in the juniors boxing and where it can take you. Michael and Keenan started the junior sessions on a Saturday morning and worked their way through to Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions. They’re now about to become registered boxers for Lochee so a massive well done from all at Lochee. If you Strive to commit and work hard the rewards will come.🥊🥊🥊

Good luck to our team Lochee Boxer Luca Flynn, who has flown out for a 2 week competition with Boxing Scotland. First week he will be up against boxers from Bosnia in the Sarajevo Cup,then the following week he is off to Serbia to compete in the very prestigious Golden Gloves championship . Lochee Amateur Boxing Club were saddened to hear the news of one of our former members and Boxer Brandon Mcilavery has died aged 26yrs. Thoughts go out to his immediate family and friends. He will be remembered at Lochee as a gentle giant. All at the club send our sincere condolences to all who knew him. RIP Brandon.

All at Lochee would like congratulate our coach Scott Cunningham on successfully passing his Level 3 coaching course. 6 months of hard work paid off. Great achievement Scott, we are all proud. One team. Team Lochee 🥊🥊🥊

We will be returning Monday the 12th of August.
The classes are as follows;
Monday 6-7.30pm Boxers and Keep fitters. Over 14s unless a boxer.
Wednesday, 6-7.30pm Registered Boxers only.
Friday 6-7.30pm Registered Boxers only.
Saturday morning Juniors;
6-10yrs 10-10.45am
10-13yrs.11-12pm.
We will be hopefully adding a cub class through the week, this has to be confirmed with coaches first. Then a day and time will be announced on here..
Our club has decided to affiliate with Boxing Scotland for the 24-25 season.

Well done to all the Juniors this morning. Last class as we are shutting down over the summer for maintenance work. Start date will be announced on here for the return class. As always thank you to Matthew for his help it’s much appreciated. And a big shout out to Sam Hickey for taking the 10-13yrs section this morning. Was brilliant to see the young ones see someone who boxed for Lochee and went on to achieve commonwealth Gold, along with all his other achievements. It was much appreciated 🤍🖤🥊🥊photos in comments.

Last night we had our Dinner show in The Quay , I would to thank everyone who bought tickets and came along to support our Boxers, also to all the officials who gave up their time to make the show happen St. Francis Boxing Club Fair City ABC CAIN Boxing Club Elgin Amateur Boxing Club all the away Boxers and coaches, Jonesys, Glasgow city, Fair City, Granite City Boxing Club sky axe, St Francis, keir hardie, Cain, Oneils.
We had 13 matches and everyone was closely contested, most of the results didn't go our way with 3 wins and 10 losses 7 of which we were on the wrong end of split decisions. You know we were up against when 2 of our wins had to be reversed one of them being a stoppage 🤣🤣. Have to say I couldn't be more prouder of our Boxers who gave it there all 🥊.
Last but not least thanks to The Quay for hosting a great night 👍
