What a wonderful testimony! Thank you for taking the time and thought to write this Deb...so very much appreciated! 🙂

"I had just stopped drinking and needed some support to get my thinking straight as I was "stuck in a rut" which often led to a downward spiral into depression, anxiety and continual negative thinking. I found Marion's website by noticing a sticker in her window and made an appointment. I found Marion to be full of empathy and understanding, non-judgemental, very open and easy to talk to and an extremely good listener. The 6 week course in cognitive behavioural therapy was comprehensive and good value for money, the paperwork and personal CD being included in the weekly session charge. Some weeks there were written exercises to complete, which gave me a focus and helped me to learn and understand my thought processes. The course is very practical as you learn various techniques and strategies to practise. I found it beneficial and also empowering as it leaves me with "a bag of tools" I can use for the rest of my life whenever my thought patterns trouble me. I am not so fearful of the future now. I also know that I can book further appointments with Marion if necessary for a "top-up" if I find myself running into difficulties so I am secure in the knowledge of her ongoing support. Thanks for everything Marion."

Happy 8th Anniversary to my business! So proud, pleased and honoured to get to do what I do! Here's to many more successful years up ahead! ❤️🌈
With everything going on in the world right now (on top of your daily challenges) you could be left feeling overwhelmed.
When you experience emotional overwhelm it can feel all-consuming, but simply stopping to take some deep breaths can help reset your emotional state.
Here are five simple things to do if you're feeling overwhelmed today:
1. Breathe deeply
Take a few moments to just focus on your breath. Try breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
2. Get outside
Getting out in nature is a great way to ground yourself and being in green spaces can help reduce stress and anxiety. If you can't get out into the countryside, simply stepping outside can help. Research shows that exposing your lungs to fresh air can help to relieve stress and anxiety.
3. Talk to someone
Reach out to a friend or family member. Connecting with others is one of the best ways to combat stress.
4. Move your body
This could simply mean standing up and having a little wiggle or doing a full workout. When you move your body, you produce endorphins that will help you feel good.
5. Write it down
Writing things down can help organise your mind. Whether it's writing down your feelings or a to-do list to tick off.

Tomorrow is VALENTINES DAY! ❤️
Commonly known as a day when you can show a friend or a loved one that you love and care about them. But how do you show that you love and care about YOU????
It can be argued that to be able to love, you must love and care for yourself as much as you do others. I think that self love is vital for getting and keeping satisfying relationships with others. So.....here are my top tips on how to love yourself better!
1. Accept yourself just as you are! Remember, no one is perfect. Be gentle with yourself and accept that you are GOOD ENOUGH!❤️
2. I often tell my clients that to COMPARE is to DESPAIR! We are all unique, no two people are the same. Comparing yourself to others will always lead to feeling bad about yourself. instead, choose to focus on what you HAVE rather than what you don't have for example, your strengths, talents, skills, qualities, what you have achieved and so on -make a list of these and regularly remind yourself of them!❤️
3. Just be YOU! Be who you REALLY are and not who you wish you were or who others want you to be- then learn to LOVE that person!❤️
4. Give yourself TIME! Allow yourself time to learn to love you-be patient with yourself, accept that you ARE making progress and that you ARE changing positively each and every day-FORGIVE yourself for mistakes and see your mistakes not as failures but as learning experiences-remember that you've got to get it WRONG sometimes to get it RIGHT! ❤️
5. Take good care of YOU! Treat yourself like you would your very BEST FRIEND! Treat yourself with acceptance, respect and with appreciation.
HAVE A HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! 🥰❤️🌈
