Shooting Stars Flyball Team

Would just like to thank everyone that supported our show at Cowgate the weather played up as usual but after a dodgy Saturday the rest of the weekend was ok. A big thank you to our head judge Wayne you had your work cut out for you but managed it extremely well as usual, also thanks to all the judges, measures and supervisors without all your help these shows wouldn’t be able to go ahead, and of course thank you all for entering hopefully Saturday didn’t cause to much damage and the sun made up for it on Sunday.

Sadly that was our last outdoor comp this year hopefully see you at Maidstone in November. Good luck to all entering the indoor champs in October

Urgent notice: Can I remind all at Cowgate that the 5mph speed limit applies in the field as well as through the farmyard. Anyone caught speeding will be asked to leave the venue

Cafe shack at Cowgate will be closing at 2.30pm today

Cowgate update:
As racing has been abandoned for today, division 1 will be run tomorrow. Racing will start at 8.30am with the first half of division 1 then followed by the first half of Sunday's divisions.
Bingo this evening: we will make a decision about this later and let everyone know

Cowgate: Fish n chip van will now be here at 6.45pm tonight only

UPDATE from Shooting Stars: This show we will be providing food in our Shooting Stars Shack. Burgers, hot dogs, breakfast baps, chips and cold and hot drinks. Open 8am to 3pm, this is totally run by the club. Bring your own refillable cups/mugs for discount on tea and coffee. CASH ONLY 🍔 🌭 🥓 ☕️ 🍟 🍳

Cowgate update: the main field is now accessible.

If you can delay arriving at Cowgate today please do so. We are still currently unable to access the main field. Please relay this to any of your members

Just had an amazing 5 days of flyball fun at the BFA Championships sadly no wins but so happy with how all our dogs ran but at least we won the fancy dress as the Adam’s family was a great weekend thank you everyone that worked so hard to make it a great weekend 💫💫

Our schedule for Cowgate August comp out tonight camping available from Monday 19th - Sunday 1st September 💫💫

Well done Kennets for a great comp weather was very changeable one minute in a dry robe next in t shirt but still some great racing and loads of fun. So please with our new team lineup can’t wait to see what we can achieve at our next comp 🤞. 💫💫

Shooting stars would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that helped make Cowgate another successful tournament. Big thank you to everyone that helped set up on Friday and take down again so that meant a nice early Finnish on Monday.
Had a few issues getting to the venue on Friday and Saturday but that didn’t stop us having a great weekend even the weather was fairly kind to us apart from the sea breeze. A massive thanks for all your support looking forward to seeing you all again in August 🤞💫💫

Update: Cowgate Lane is now open, however the signs at the moment still say road closed but it is open. Please use the normal way in to Cowgate

We would like to thank Penny , Barkshires bandits and Jets for a great weekend at Ardingly some great racing and loads of fun. We missed some of our team members but muddled along and got 2x 4th and 1x 3rd not bad considering we had a big change round of dogs. Toniq was a clever girl running paw perfect in her first open such a clever girl. Thanks also to Pete Bell on helping us on Sunday much appreciated. Cant wait to do it all again this weekend at Cowgate 💫💫💫

For those coming down to Cowgate Farm early, please note Cowgate Lane is currently closed if you are coming in from Hawkinge village. There is a diversion in place which brings you into the lane from Alkham Valley Road. If you are towing this is tighter than coming in the normal way. We will keep everyone updated as they are due to finish later in the week. As soon as the road is open we will let everyone know
