All my lessons are now delivered online (FaceTime, Zoom, Duo). For safeguarding reasons I am unable to give my Bay House lessons in this way but if any Bay House students would like any private lessons while school is closed please ask a parent to message me. Working on your piano playing is a great way to spend your time while you're stuck indoors! For anyone else who is interested in a one-off or occasional lesson, I hold a BMus degree, LTCL teaching diploma and an MA in piano teaching. I have 25 years experience and teach all ages from beginner to diploma standard. Happy practising everyone!

The start of our Autumn term (Mon 17th September) is fast approaching, and we will be offering our usual range of one-to-one lessons and weekly groups tailored to every musical taste!
If your child would like to learn to play a musical instrument, then we have the teacher to get her or him off to a great start!
Whether it's piano, percussion, strings, wind, or brass, Hindhead Music Centre has tutors who specialise in teaching the young and the very young, including the Suzuki violin system for those who choose it. Tuition is one-to-one (although group playing is also encouraged).
Normally pupils will have one lesson a week of half an hour, during term time.
Fees: £240 per term for 10 lessons.
Not sure which instrument to choose? Our MINI-MUSIC course runs each school term and can help 4-7 year olds decide.

Our end of year playing evening was a great success: everyone had worked really hard and played with confidence and expression in music that ranged from Purcell to The Simpsons theme tune. Well done all! 😀🎹🎶

Enjoyed playing my recital in St Davids Cathedral today to a lovely appreciative audience.

Looking forward to attending the Hindhead Piano Course next week. The recital that I'm doing as part of the course is on Thursday 28th at 12.30, not Friday as I posted previously, just in case anyone was planning to come!

There will be an informal concert of my pupils this Saturday (16th July) at the United Reformed Church, Gosport. 7.00-8.30pm. All welcome (£5/£3/under 16s free). A variety of repertoire from students of all ages and stages (including pupils' own compositions); the concert will conclude with a performance of Mendelssohn's Andante and Allegro Brillante for piano duet played by me and Kate Burrows.

Preparing for 2 recitals coming up. Hindhead Music Centre 29th July at 12.30 and St Davids Cathedral, Pembrokeshire, on 3rd August at midday. I will be playing Beethoven, Janacek, Debussy and Chopin.
