A throw back to sunnier days, lambing and the first time lambs were born on my birthday!!

I am sooooo ready for springtime and all the changes it brings.
It’s always our busiest time on the farm and though my hands a little more tied this year I am excited to help where I can and make sure James has everything he needs for a successful lambing! It’s team work after all!

Sunshine, daffodils, snowdrops, lambs, grass, blue skies….. YES PLEASE!!!
What do your love about Spring?

Saturdays, we had a child free morning so what did we get up to? The animal feeding together. 🤍
This is something James and I enjoy doing together, it will be a lot harder in the near further to get out and about with a new born but I’m sure we will make the most of the days before that and support each other like a team when baby does arrive!

Doing things together is so important, no matter how small, creating that time for the two of you to recharge, chat and appreciate each other.
I love our days on and around the farm, no money spent, just doing what we love!
This little bog goblin certainly isn’t this lovely shade of moomin, the frost has thawed and let’s say she loves a roll 😂

Those of you who haven’t see my stories, meet Jess!
Our working dog…. Or working progress but she will get there. Her confidence has grown hugely in the last two weeks. It’s beautiful to see a dog flourish in a home where she knows she is loved and secure.

Did I always believe we’d have a working collie, yes, did I think it would be right before we have another baby, no. However I’m a huge believer that animals come to you to at that time for a reason.

I’m excited for the lessons Jess will teach me however so far, I have been blown away by the work she has put in to change my opinion on collies for sure 😍

Busy week for us! Carpets being fitted in the rooms we hut pause on since the extension. Finally injecting some TLC into our bedroom which I’m so excited about. Lots more updates to follow.

Here’s a throwback to my special boy, Seumas, (hairy seumas) he is James and my mascot for our relationship! Hitting 11 years old with the best set or horns I’ve ever seen!

Thursday just like that, although I have struggled this week pregnancy wise James and I seem to be on the same page with exciting visions for future ahead of us 💖
