I like yoga, reading and thinking so In 2006, I was invited to the first Hot yoga class hoping to lose weight.

I was amazed, felt really relaxed and rejuvenated after the class. After that, yoga has become part of my life. Besides Hot yoga I also practised Vinyasa, Yin until found Ashtanga Yoga in 2010, which I have stayed faithful to ever since. In 2012 I started to volunteer to teach yoga in church. 角落頭果擗唔係薯蓉,而係用歐防風蓉

原本切一條條諗住用壓力煲蒸,然後再氣炸扮薯條,點知壓力煲15分鐘已經淋哂,索性加啲百里香、牛油、鹽同黑椒做蓉,佢比薯蓉多咗一種清甜味,配紅酒燴牛尾非常夾😄😋

「糖醋排骨」係都幾常煮嘅餸菜,因為容易整,放入壓力煲30分鐘就攪掂,而且可以炆一大煲,分幾盒放冰相慢慢食

原本整要用紹興酒同鎮江醋,但嚟到英國盡量就地取材,所以用咗呢度容易係超市買到嘅Ginger Wine同意大利黑醋代替

而糖就用係Iherb買嘅阿洛糖,秉成一貫健康得嚟都要好味為原則,Yummy😋

係香港已經戒左出街買同自己整麵包🍞,雖然有時去茶餐廳都會食吓菠蘿油、鮮油多,不過最多食半件,最緊要食晒全部牛油😆

嚟到英國, Sourdough Bread(酸種麵包)確實好吸引,仲有Costco £4.99 兩包12個Bagels,切開,烘到脆香,搽牛油,soft cream, clotted cream,好難抗拒

不過,聽到太多專家講食麩質(Gluten)唔好,包括容易引起炎症、腸胃不適、皮膚過敏、特別係致肥,尤其走唔甩會有個肚腩仔;反而以前怕高碳唔敢食嘅root vegetable原來係好嘢,主要因為呢類食物含抗性澱粉(resistant starch),不能被胃同小腸直接吸收,因此,唔會分解成葡萄糖同脂肪,對血糖同胰島素影響不大,同時,呢類食物係大腸發酵過程可以增加好菌,有助改善腸道健康,,特別女性,由於荷爾蒙變化,係經前會想食甜,多食抗性澱粉類嘅食物可以避免想食無益嘅高糖榚點,於是,早幾日決定將雪櫃包Bagel丟入冰箱,抖吓唔食Gluten,用根莖類蔬菜代替

係英國,除咗薯仔,根莖類蔬菜仲有好多選擇,除咗紅蘿蔔,南瓜,最近成日整我哋好熟悉嘅蕃薯,除咗蒸,原來切一條條氣炸焗都好好食,淋啲鵝油一齊焗,好食都不得了

另外仲有我哋唔熟悉一種食物叫歐防風/又叫防風草(Parsnips),基本上好似薯仔咁煮,有種清甜,煮紅酒牛尾、咖哩,加埋落去,又或者墊住春雞,加用橄欖油、鹽、胡椒、迷迭香,氣炸,容易整又好味

Parsnips一包500g盛惠£0.55, 蕃薯🍠1kg £1.19,平過食麵包,仲要健康啲,認真唔食就笨啦!😂

最近鼓勵一個同學減重,佢之前試過生酮飲食有甩頭髮問題,為咗避免瘦身成功但係無咗啲頭髮🥹,於是認真睇吓啲專家點講甩頭髮嘅原因同解決辦法,綜合咗以下幾點:

1. 改變飲食習慣或者做運動免不了會為身體帶來壓力,所以,起初都可能會有甩頭髮問題,當身體適應後,慢慢就唔會再甩,甚至會生多咗

2. 甩頭髮可能因為食得唔夠,要留意每日食夠蛋白質,蛋白質粉量一般係身體重量x1.6,例如體重60kg, 就要食60kg x 1.6 = 96gm,食物包含嘅蛋白質可以參考附圖
所以,如果重60kg,每日要食大概 4 eggs (11gm) + 200 gm beef (50gm) + 200 gm salmon (40gm)

留意蛋白質必須配合脂肪先容易俾身體吸收,所以食蛋白質嘅時候要同油一齊食,唔好怕肥唔食油,令人肥嘅並非油脂,而係糖同精製碳水化合物

3. 甩頭髮亦可能因為礦物質唔夠,朝早飲咖啡可以加少少Himalayan salt, 亦可以補充電解質

另外,每日飲大骨湯(Bone Broth)同骨膠原(collagen),都有助改善甩頭髮問題,Amazon有呢隻似乎唔錯:

4. 補充維他命D都非常重要,缺乏維他命D會影響吸引礦物質,特別英國少太陽,更加要額外補充,專家建議每日要有5000IU維他命D,最好同維他命K2一齊食會吸收得好啲,可以餐後或者睡前服用,見到Amazon有呢隻做緊 black Friday deal,可以試吓

5. 最後,如果胃酸唔夠,例如餐後有胃脹或者胃氣問題,又或者有甲狀腺問題,都會影響身體吸引蛋白質導致甩頭髮,對於呢啲問題,我再研究之後分享呀!

1.《維他命D》

最近去韓國探朋友,佢介紹幾個YouTube頻道,其中一個係特別針對女性嘅健康飲食同斷食方法,咁啱有個同學仔想減重,叫我俾啲建議佢,於是,我綜合咗Youtuber嘅資訊,提議佢試兩個星期以下嘅飲食方法,有興趣嘅朋友都可以試吓:

「如果有食早餐習慣,遲一個鐘食,先飲茶🫖、暖水,一個鐘後,飲杯咖啡☕️或者茶,加cream、牛油🧈、MCT oil,然後先早餐

做16/8,即係每日8個鐘⏰食嘢,其餘16小時唔食

每餐先食好蛋白質,包括
肉類:牛🐂、豬🐖、羊、雞、火腿、腸、煙肉🥓,海鮮:魚🐟、蝦🍤,芝士🧀、優格

盡量選擇油份高,豬腩🐷、肥牛、沙丁魚、三文魚

又或者加油:淋初榨橄欖油🫒、加牛油🧈、或者用豬油煎煮,蛋白質必需配脂肪一齊食,身體先容易吸收

多食好油脂:初榨橄欖油🫒、牛油果油🥑、牛油、豬油
避免食壞油:大豆油、菜油、粟米油🌽、葵花籽油、葡萄籽油

英國超市有好唔駛洗沙律菜賣🥗,最啱懶人,開一包,加牛油果🥑,橄欖油🫒,意大利醋就食得

煮餸就用豬油,英國好容易買,70P就有好大舊LARD,通常放係牛油附近

食好碳水化合物,而非精製嘅碳水化合物, 可以食根莖類蔬菜:蕃薯、紅蘿蔔、Parsnips(防風草,見附圖)、南瓜⋯⋯

食碳水化合物同樣配脂肪一齊食,加牛油🧈,初榨橄欖油🫒,sour cream或者同配煙肉🥓,腸,牛油果🥑一齊食

想食甜🍭可以食糖份低嘅生果,包括士多啤梨🍓,藍莓🫐、黑莓、紅莓,青蘋果

真係想食精製碳水化合物,飯🍚會好過小麥製嘅麵🍝

又真係好想食麵包🍞,就搽超多牛油🧈、soft cheese、clotted cream (my favourite💕),不過要食晒蛋白質同脂肪先食

以上嘅飲食唔需要考慮卡路里,食到飽為止

食少咗精製碳水化合物,加多啲鹽🧂調味都無問題,用天然海鹽或者粉紅岩鹽,轉健康飲食期間,礦物質會同脂肪一齊流失,所以補充返鹽份係好重要

希望我建議嘅飲食方法可以幫到呢位同學啦!套用Dr Eric Berg嘅講法,我哋唔係因為要健康所以減重,而係因為健康就自然唔會肥架啦!😚

享受咗兩個星期陽光燦爛夏天☀️,開始進入涼浸浸嘅秋季,比起香港,英國有太陽嘅日子少咗好多,雖然香港朋友日日熱到爆可能會好羨慕,但真實體驗每年只有三四個月個夏季,其他日子經常天陰陰,冬天❄️☃️3~4點就天黑,確實係有啲難捱

因為日照時間短咗,身體可能會缺乏維他命D,所以平日會多服用維他命D補充劑,充足維他命D有以下好處:

1. 幫助改善心情,抗抑鬱
2. 改善睡眠質素,減少身體感覺疲倦
3. 減少受病毒感染
4. 減輕免疫系統疾病
5. 改善腸胃問題

留意要服用維生素D3,同時配合維生素K2食用,當維他命D提高血液中鈣含量,維他命K2可將鈣從血液中推入骨骼。理想比例係10,000IU 維生素D3加100IU維生素K2,好多補充劑都會提供呢種配方

維他命D屬於脂性維他命,所以配合油脂服用身體會更容易吸收,好多時候我會連同魚油食用,另外,有專家建議晚上食用會有助身體放鬆入睡

經常買Costco short ribs,試過紅酒燉、韓式炆,今次整清湯腩

自從幾年前開始生酮飲食,買所有食物都會留意背後營養標籤🏷️,其實睇完會幫你慳返唔少,因為好多成份都有防腐劑、增味劑、人做色素、超多嘅糖…… 睇完會毫無懸念放低

嚟到英國🇬🇧多一個原則就係盡量就地取材,用本地生產嘅材料而唔特登去中超買中式醬料

一般清湯腩會用柱侯醬,一種以大豆為主要材料嘅醬料,雖然係度唔難買中式柱侯醬,但係經過Aldi 又俾我見到呢樽豆鼓醬,標明全天然成份,不含人工香料、色素、防腐劑,英國製造,於是買嚟試吓整清湯牛腩,都work同好食喎!推👍

補充:營養成分標明全天然成份,不含人工香料、色素、防腐劑,糖份都低,唯一唔理想係用Rapeseed Oil芥花籽油,一種精製嘅種籽油,高omega 6,容易引起炎症,不過因為成本問題,百分九十九醬料都用種籽油例如菜油、大豆油、芥花籽……個人覺得身體健康一般食少少問題不大,但若果有嚴重健康問題如癌症、免疫力系統問題包括濕疹、牛皮癬、類風濕關節炎等,就可免則免啦!
