As we get older, our bodies lose essential muscle and bone mass. This can lead to poor posture, muscle and bone weakness, and even osteoporosis - especially in women after menopause.

Rebounding helps prevent those losses by restoring bone density and muscle mass by creating osteoblasts (cells that form new bone made of collagen and proteins to improve bone mineral density).

🩷THE IMPORTANCE OF STRENGTH TRAINING🩷

As we age, we start to lose muscle mass. These changes begin as early as your 30s and continue at a rate of 3% to 5% per decade. The good news is that strength training can help you maintain and rebuild muscle at any age 💪🏻💪🏻

Essential to staying strong and vital during older adulthood is participation in regular strengthening exercises, which help to prevent osteoporosis and frailty by stimulating the growth of muscle and bone. Feeling physically strong also promotes mental and emotional health too.

NASA’s famous rebounding study concluded that the benefits of bouncing are up to 68% more effective than running.

The rebounding movement provides a resistance element to your workout (working against g force and gravity) meaning you’re testing your aerobic capacity, as well as your strength, balance, and coordination.

We lead such busy lives, so applying a ‘work smarter, not harder’ attitude is something we believe in at ((BOUNCE)). The goal of our workouts is to maximise results in the shortest period of time. There’s no ‘quick’ fix, but bouncing will certainly get you there faster than running 😉
