**Will Dermaplaning Cause Hair to Grow Back Darker?**
No, it won’t.
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment, but it will not change the color of your strands by causing them to grow back darker.
If your hair changes color post-treatment, it is likely due to a change in hormones. If there are no hormonal changes or imbalances, your hair should regrow as it did before — not lighter and certainly not darker.

Keep in mind that the new hair growth after dermaplaning can feel a little coarse, much like stubble, but that does not mean your hair is growing back thicker. It’s the same texture and color as before but it may feel different because the growth has a blunt end.

If you want to keep enjoying its hairless effect, you’ll need regular treatments. Of course, the exact length of time between sessions will vary from person to person and their hair growth cycles.
