𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦?
Higher interest rates are intended to lower inflation, by giving mortgage-holders less to spend - but at the moment it’s not working as much as the Bank of England would like as inflation remained at 8.7% in May.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week with the topic this year of Anxiety.

How much are you worth to make sure all your bills are paid each month if you couldn’t work?

Now and again there is confusion when a client thinks they have critical illness cover or income protection. So what is the difference?

Critical Illness Cover pays out a lump sum if you are diagnosed with a critical illness. Typically these are illnesses like cancer, heart attack, stroke and MS. Different providers offer different definitions which have to be met for a claim to be successful.

Income Protection will pay out a guaranteed income in the event that you are unable to work and will continue to do so until you either die, retire or are fit to return to work. There are cheaper options which cover for smaller benefit periods like 1,2 and 5 years.
