A message from Rawaa!
โAssalamu alikuym Community,
This year, let's come together to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza by donating for Qurbani/Tadhya. Any amount, big or small, can make a significant difference in sacrificing a sheep in Gaza and providing much-needed meat for families in need and a blessed Adha celebration. *Donations will be sent by myself, Rawaa Elhanafy, a Palestinian Gazan through my family in Gaza. *02-0820-0494499-000*
I will document and report back to the community with photos and videos of the sacrifice that will take place from your donations, and the distribution of meat to families through community groups and our Instagram page, allforafreepalestine.

โIt's been uplifting to see the support that has grown within the past few months alone, but life has not been easy at all being a Palestinian, a Gazan.
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to share a GiveALittle page created to support my immediate family, my mother's family in Gaza, who are facing challenging circumstances under this genocide. Palestinians in Gaza are forced to flee or be murdered, but fleeing is not a possibility if you cannot pay thousands of money. Unfortunately, this is what life has become. We have lost the closest family members to us, and don't want to bear no more. The funds raised will help us help them flee to Egypt for a safer environment. Life has been very hard and stressful, we need help helping them. Your support and sharing of the page would mean a lot to us. Here's the link:

Thank you for considering, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Best,
Rawaa and her familyโ

MUSA looks forward to working with our partner NIYA and encourages our members to join in the kลrero
Regions Outreach by NIYA seeks to reach out, listen, and korero with Muslim rangatahi [youth] across the country, especially those outside our main city centres to support social cohesion and a united future for Muslim rangatahi in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We want to hear how your community is doing, and how we can support communities like yours. To do this, we have engaging workshop sessions planned around the country to have enriching korero and development. This initiative is the beginning of what we'd love to be a lasting relationship, and a tangible action plan to support Muslim youth in Aotearoa.
While we're beginning down south, we're hoping to get around all our major towns and cities across Aotearoa to meet you all. Are you interested in attending our Regions Outreach programme in Mataura or Dunedin?
