The first few days back from starship were a drag. Bodhi felt like absolute s**t from all the chemo.

He's just finished his run of steroids and is acting like a maniac , plus not to mention the amount of food he's eating ! That boy is HUNGRY! meanwhile, when he's on the steroids, he slaps his chops extremely loud, most definitely with the 5 apples he eats a day 🫠😂

He's doing well, though. Overall, he is not too fond of taking the oral chemo every night, but he will get better.

Sleeps are a but dull and restless again. This is from the steroids.

So glad that's finished.

His moods go from extremely upset to bouncing off the walls , within seconds , the steroids really are a sucky part. But they're also so important!

After a delayed flight bodhis now home ✨🫶🏻

Gabby's Starlit HOPE is a shining light for families like mine who have faced the unimaginable. I'm so grateful for their support and I'm glad I could give back in some small way. Let's keep spreading the love!

HELLO MAINTENANCE!!!

Honestly, I remember dreaming of this day many months ago, felt like it was never going to get there. What a fu***ng blessed day today is ! So much joy I don't even have words for . Massive milestone for us 🙌🏻

It's crazy this journey has felt like a lifetime but also the last 3 months has felt like a blink !

In 17 months 2 weeks bodhi will have his last chemotherapy! This is the long haul . But it's a much better stage to be in .

Bodhi earlier this afternoon. Waiting for his flight to starship

Every time he's at the new Plymouth airport, he gets his green grapes . The staff there is fantastic and often will fill his request and make his grape container up of just the green grapes 😅

Yay for maintenance tomorrow!

Wishing bodhi all the best for tomorrow for his port access they've been pretty rough , with a lot of emotions, fighting, and pure rage since his last Auckland visit when the nurse slipped and missed the access hole. Which was horrible for bodhi.😢

Hopefully , everything runs as smooth as possible for Mac & bodhi ! 🙏🏻🤞🏻

Tomorrow is IV chemo 2x
His lumbar puncture - intrathecal chemo.

Dr appointment, checks , & will start back on dex (steroids) + oral chemotherapy.

He will then start his monthly checks at the hospital (local)
For port flush , bloods, etc.

3 monthly starship , for lumbar puncture , and Dr check up / Bloods, etc .

Looking for an Auckland celebrity chef to do a special surprise for cancer warrior Tyson.

Tyson is such a cancer warrior and he has been through so much. While other kids his age are enjoying the holidays he’s fighting cancer again.

Tyson was diagnosed with Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) in March 2020 and was in remission by end of July, then relapsed April 2022, then fought hard again and was in remission September 2022.

Then devastating news came that he had relapsed again on 6th July 2024 with ALL and Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) a rare blood cancer. So Tyson is back at Starship undergoing more treatment.

This kid has had a rough time and Gabby’s Starlit HOPE wants to do something special for him. So we talked to his Mum and she said he loved cooking.

So we came up with this idea to get a well known chef to come to him at Ronald McDonald House Auckland and give him his very own cooking session.

Does anyone know a chef that could do this for Tyson. We would love to surprise this amazing boy.
