FIRST AID - Our Night Shift tangerine team was called to assist a mauling victim at a resto-bar in Kayang. We brought the heavily intoxicated victim to our tent at the entrance of Hilltop and immediately contacted the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) ambulance crew.
After receiving initial medical attention from EMS, we decided to es**rt the victim to San Carlos Heights to prevent him from wandering around the market.
CLEAN UP - Our tangerine team conducts regular cleanups in their area of responsibility (AOR) before ending their shift. We constantly appeal to our Baguio residents and visitors alike to help keep our city clean. We encourage them to take their garbage and trash with them until they reach their homes and dispose of it along with household waste.
RAIN OR SHINE, COMMUNITY SERVICE MUST GO ON | Our Tangerine Team has responded to the request of our senior citizens at barangay San Luis to fix and replace the dilapidated rain gutters of their Senior Citizens Association office. Our team decided to push through with the work despite the unfavorable weather conditions as we cannot predicted when the sun will shine next.
STUDENT HELPS TO THE RESCUE OLD WOMAN - Our tangerine team was approached by a student who reported that an elderly woman was having difficulty climbing the stairs of the "O" shape overpass at the Harrison-Ganza side on Wednesday. We accompanied the student to check on the woman and moved her to a waiting shed for comfort.
Our team assessed her condition and immediately called 911 for an ambulance. While we waited, a group of student nurses volunteered to assist the elderly woman. However, as the ambulance was taking longer than expected, we decided to transport her to the hospital with the help of one of the student nurses.
NEED A TOW, SIR? - Our tangerine mobile team was on patrol when they spotted a stranded vehicle that wouldn't start along Teacher's Camp. The team quickly assessed the situation and tried everything they could to get it running again. Unfortunately, after exhausting all options, they decided to tow the vehicle to the nearest mechanic.
With to our enforcers quick thinking and the handy tools in our mobile vehicles, like jumper cables, tow ropes, and a tire jack, we were able to help the stranded motorist. Our teammates are proud to be of help to our constituents, always ready to lend a helping hand.
INGAT PO - While our tangerine team was busy attending to a senior citizen who slipped in Block 3, Fish Section of Hilltop Market, our attention was drawn to another market patron who felt nauseated and fainted near the wag-wagan in the same area.
After ensuring that the senior citizen could manage to go home on her own, our team immediately attended to the fainting patient with the help of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) crew we had called earlier.
The EMS crew assessed the female patient and determined that she required further medical care. They then transported the patient to Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGH-MC).
MAG-INGAT PO TAYO - A senior citizen slipped and fell in the Blk. 3 Fish Section of the Baguio City Public Market on Saturday. Our tangerine team immediately responded to the incident, assisting and dialing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Ambulance.
Upon receiving a report of the fall, our tangerine team rushed to the scene. They found the elderly woman, who appeared to have sustained minor injuries from the fall. Our team assessed her condition and provided immediate first aid while waiting for an EMS ambulance.
Despite the EMS's insistence on transporting her to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment, the senior citizen wanted to return home. After careful consideration and ensuring she understood the potential risks, she signed a waiver, indicating her refusal of further medical assistance.
Our tangerine team urges everyone to exercise caution while navigating the market, especially in areas with wet or slippery surfaces.

At SPED Center, we're proud to have completed the construction of additional bleachers. From initial assessment to final touches, our team worked tirelessly to provide a safe and comfortable space for our beloved learners.
Our team is committed to providing skilled labor and assistance, especially to public schools that often face budgetary constraints, particularly for labor costs. We aim to address urgent repair and construction needs and create more conducive learning environments.

LET ME GET THAT FOR YOU, MA'AM - Assisting our market patrons in loading their groceries into waiting taxicabs is just one of the many ways our tangerine team strives to serve our Baguio constituents.
IWAS SABIT - Before going to Campo Filipino clean-up, our tangerine team stopped by Zandueta Street to remove some wayward telecommunications wires hanging from a BENECO electric post.
We regularly clear or remove dangerous dangling wires that cause unintentional accidents to our motoring public and riders.

MARKET WALK ABOUT - Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong conducted a surprise inspection of the city market on Monday afternoon. Our market vendors took advantage of his visit to discuss their concerns and schedule appointments with the Mayor.
During the inspection, vendors approached the Mayor on a review of the anti-kalis-kis measure and about the leaking roof in the alleyway between the sari-sari and vegetable sections. In response, the Mayor assured the vendors that he would be meeting up with them on the anti-kalis-kis issue and he will have the roofing repaired.
Mayor Benjie frequently makes unannounced visits to the market to interact directly with market entrepreneurs and address their needs.
BINNADANG - Our generous vendors of Baguio City Public Market donate used sacks for the clean-up operations in the Campo Filipino fire. Our tangerine team use these donated used sacks for houling storm debris and other clean-up efforts all over the city. This small but significant gesture shows the true spirit of binnadang and the unwavering support of our community.
KEEPING IT PUDDLE FREE - Due to the recent heavy rainfall brought by Typhoon Enteng induced "habagat", we constantly sweep and drain the water puddles that have formed on the 'O' overpass. The inch-high pools of water have caused significant inconvenience to our Baguio citizens, who are forced to navigate around them by hopping and skipping along the pedestrian footbridge.
May we ask for your help? If you have seen her or if she is temporarily staying with you? Her family is worried and looking for her. If you have any information, please call the numbers below.
INJURY TIME-OUT - While conducting our second day of cleanup the previous week at the fire-damaged houses in Campo Filipino, two of our tangerine team members accidentally stepped on exposed two-inch nails. The nails punctured their shoes and injured the soles of their feet. Fortunately, an aid station was nearby, and they were promptly treated. The team members were administered the first dose of the tetanus vaccine, with the second dose scheduled for next month. Additionally, another cleanup crew from GSO received the same vaccination after inadvertently stepping on a nail. No further injuries were reported, and our teammates experienced no complications.
Our tangerine team postponed the cleanup due to Typhoon Enteng earlier in the week but resumed on Wednesday. They are about to finish the cleanup soon.
TYPHOON WATCH - Our tangerine team with the Baguio's Bravest and barangay officials clear a fallen tree in Lourdes after Typhoon Enteng traverse Northern Luzon, on Tuesday evening.
OUR PLEASURE TO ES**RT YOU, MA'AM - We're here to assist everyone, especially those with disabilities. During heavy rains or other challenging conditions, feel free to ask our tangerine teammates for help. Our dedicated team members will gladly and are ready to assist whenever needed.
LIBRENG SAKAY - While Typhoon Enteng was traversing Northern Luzon, some passengers were stranded without their regular jeeps returning to their staging area.
Our tangerine team ferried waiting passengers of San Carlos Heights barangay on Monday evening. The jeeps had failed to return as the typhoon rains began to pour and the winds lashed at the hapless commuters.
STORM DUTY - Our tangerine team is going around the city clearing storm debris and removing sagging tree branches or bamboos that might fall on BENECO transmission lines and telecommunications lines that might cause a power outage or lost connectivity.
ONLY IN BAGUIO - A student was in a panic when our tangerine team noticed her at the loading and unloading area in Upper Kayang. Our teammates asked her what was wrong, and she replied that she had lost her phone, after getting off at the jeepney stop. Our teammates asked for her phone number and called her cellphone. Fortunately, the jeepney driver of the Quezon Hill jeepney she had ridden found her phone. He said he was on his way back from his express route to the market to return it. Thanks to the honesty of Baguio's drivers, she was able to recover her phone.
ADDRESSING ELECTRICAL SAFETY - In response to a complaint we have come across online, our Tangerine Team was despatch to address an overgrown sayote vines that was creeping from Ganza Parking over to Fernandez Drive just above the shaded walkway. The sayote was wrapping and engulfing the electric lines of the street lights inside Ganza.
Whilst pruning sayote vines doesn't fall under our various mandates, the safety issue it posed to both pedestrians and property near the area is, hence our immediate dispatching of personnel to address it.
LET US ES**RT YOU MA'AM - Recently, our tangerine team assisted a visually challenged commuter who was making her way home from the "O" Shape overpass. As the rush hour crowd started to converge, our teammate guided her safely to her jeepney terminal. Our team helped her navigate the overpass and the subsequent walk to her designated loading area.
SMALL ACTS - This kind police officer and our tangerine teammate assisted a paraplegic commuter in boarding a cab at the Cunanan Taxi Stand.
If you need help, please feel free to ask our tangerine team to assist you. They can es**rt you or help you carry your market bags to a taxi cab.

The devastating fire claimed one life and caused significant damage to property and lives of several families in the area.
Work will continue until the area is cleared of debris, providing some relief and some comfort of hope to the affected families as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
We give special recognition to our market vendors as well who are always ready to provide sacks needed for clearing operations and other forms of contributions every time we are struck by such calamitous events.

They left the vegetables in our tent at the Hilltop entrance with instructions to donate them to the 12 families who were left homeless. Our tangerine team delivered the fresh produce to the Campo Filipino Barangay Hall before lunch yesterday.
FROM OUR HEARTS TO OUR LEARNERS - Our skilled masons and carpenters, part of the tangerine team, are actively assisting schools in need of our expertise. Our team is dedicated to providing essential repairs, fabrications, and construction services to enhance these schools' safety and learning environments.
At GES, our team has dedicated almost a month to completing the following improvements:
1. Installed new tiling on the school stage.
2. Upgraded the stage gate and roller gate for improved functionality.
