Today marks the 38th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, an event
that ended the late former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s dictatorship and heralded a new era of true freedom and democracy.

As we commemorate this day, may we never forget the selfless sacrifices and continue
to honor our fellow countrymen who fought the dictatorship and strived for the independence of the Philippines.

Let this day also be a reminder that the power of the collective is stronger than the power of those who are in power. The fight never stopped at the EDSA People Power Revolution. May we continue fighting for the country’s democracy by holding the powerful accountable and
