Last weekend, we experienced the community coming together as one to help raise food for communities in need.

We knew that 28,000 food items was a lofty goal and while we did not manage to achieve that, we are happy to report that we are so, so close - we raised 27,440 food items during our National Day Food Donation Drive! This is also wayyyyyy past the 14,000 food items from last year’s food drive 🥳

Local tech company 🤝🏻 Local food charity!

The 28,000 food items we aim to raise during our National Day food donation drive will go towards our Community Food Pack programme, which supports close to 12,000 families every month at 105 distribution points throughout Singapore.

Owing to various constraints, we also deliver food packs to 350 beneficiaries every month. With Grab’s yearlong support for our last mile delivery, we can ensure all our beneficiaries receive their food support in a timely manner. This is so important to defray financial stress for communities in need. Thank you Grab for this meaningful collaboration - a major boost to help us close the gap in our last-mile fulfilment needs. 🫶

Our Community Shop initiative empowers beneficiaries with dignity of choice, allowing them to choose what they need, when they want, resulting in lesser food wastage. With 4 Shops islandwide, we are excited to expand its network to more estates in the months to come, to provide more choices and access to fresh foods to our beneficiaries. We're excited to partner with GOGOX in supporting our efforts to deliver food packs to our community partners swiftly and reliably! Last Friday, we kicked off our partnership with GoGoX sending almost 500 food packs to our community partners. With more than 12,000 food packs to be delivered monthly, these additional hands allow us to continually provide consistent, reliable and timely food support to those in need! 🫶🏼

A generous donation from the folks at NTUC FairPrice 🥹 We are immensely grateful for such a liberal donation, and for coming down to our warehouse to further support what we do by lending a hand to pack our food packs. It is with teams like yours that we can continue to do even more for our beneficiaries! 🫶
