We are looking for cohort members for our college preparatory program, TanSAF, which helps high-achieving, low-income students from around Tanzania gain admission from the most selective universities in the US.
TanSAF will mentor selected cohort members on their applications for universities in the United States and follow up on their development throughout the program.
Eligibility Requirements:
NECTA:
* The student must have scored Division 1 of 3 to 4 points in their A-Level NECTA results.
* The student must have scored Division 1 of 7 to 8 points in their O-Level NECTA results.
IB:
* The student must have scored at least 38 points without EE/TOK.
Cambridge:
* The student must have/will have to score a minimum of 2 As and 1 B for the AS and A Level results (predicted or actual)
* The student must have a minimum of 6As in IGCSE.

We are looking for new junior cohort members for our college preparatory program at TanSAF; a college access program that helps high-achieving, low-income students from across Tanzania to gain admissions from top universities in North America.
Under this program the grade 10/form 4 graduates, selected scholars by TanSAF will be mentored on their IB (International Baccalaureate) and Cambridge A-Level school applications then kept track of their academic and extracurricular development during their final two high school years.
All grade 10 (and equivalent) graduates who meet the eligibility criteria below are welcome to apply.

Cambridge:
* �� The student must have a minimum of 6As with a distinction in IGCSE.

Let's give a massive congratulations to Sandra, the first Tanzanian and the sole African participant to have attended the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme (LEAP) in Jersey, UK this year.
She has been an incredible advocate for female empowerment in leadership and entrepreneurship, bridging the gap for young girls worldwide. At LEAP, she passionately represented Tanzania and shared her insights on autism in children and youth, even authoring a book on the topic. Moreover, she led a successful fundraising campaign to purchase a solar panel for Mtoni Mbagala Special School, benefiting autistic children, the disabled, and the mentally challenged.

TanSAO (the Tanzania Student Achievement Organization) is an NGO which was established in Tanzania to provide important educational services for young Tanzanians and their families. TanSAO’s main focus is to serve as a resource center to support students who wish to study abroad and then return home to contribute to Tanzania’s development. We truly take pride in the many successes Tanzanian students have achieved since TanSAO’s creation.
TanSAO is a member of the HALI Access Network, a group that brings similar organizations working in Africa together to help high achieving, low income students in their educational pursuits.
