🌟Teacher Feature: Meet Amanda! 🌟

Amanda has been a dedicated yoga teacher for over five years, embarking on her journey after earning her 200+ hour certification in 2017. Impressively, she was one of the youngest graduates from the 200-hour program at CorePower Yoga at the time.

Since then, Amanda has passionately taught both online and in-person classes, with a special focus on yoga philosophy and mindfulness. Her commitment to growth and learning is evident in her continued education, which includes a 50-hour advanced training and another 50-hour training in yoga sculpt. Additionally, Amanda has received advanced training in yogic philosophy, incorporating storytelling in her classes, and movement.

🌡️Temperature: The most significant difference between hot yoga and traditional yoga is the temperature. Hot yoga is practiced in a room heated to between 90-105 degrees Fahrenheit.

🧘Poses: Hot yoga and traditional yoga also differ in the poses that are practiced. Hot yoga can sometimes be a regular yoga sequence but done in a hot room.

⭐Benefits: Hot yoga has a wide variety of physical benefits, including increased flexibility and mobility, improved cardiovascular health, reduction or elimination of chronic pain, increased muscle strength, and enhanced balance.

Meet Kendra: Kendra began her fitness career in 1999 and quickly fell in love with group fitness and personal training.

She holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has competed in local bodybuilding shows.
Kendra discovered hot yoga and barre classes at The Hot Yoga Spot and became certified in BarreFlow and her 200-hour yoga teacher training, both at our studio.

Meet our incredible instructor, Annie. Annie began her yoga journey at 9 years old when she started practicing Bikram yoga on a regular basis with her mom.

Yoga has always been a part of her life and her love of the practice fueled her to study anatomy in college and major in biochemistry.

Annie completed her foundational 200-hour teacher training with our Styles Yoga program. She also received her SUP certification and Bikram training through The Hot Yoga Spot’s Hot 26 Revolution in 2018.

Annie has taught yoga in the Capital Region as well as internationally in Noord, Aruba and Florence, Italy.

Annie loves all styles of yoga from Bikram to Yin and is a firm believer that yoga is the answer to all of life’s struggles. She is also a proud co-owner of BARE Blends with stores all over the country!
