Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
Now, more than ever before, it is critical that we support Islamic School Education. Our children's identity, beliefs and values are being directly challenged. At Washington International Academy, we nurture an Islamic upbringing from PreK all the way through 8th grade. Students attend Quran, Islamic Studies and Arabic regularly. In addition, our teachers integrate an Islamic framework when teaching Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.
Your donation today will support the continuous education of our children, providing them with a strong Islamic and academic curriculum in line with the values they bring from home. The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said: "When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a Sadaqa Jariyah (continuing charity), beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them." (Muslim).
One of our grandparents said that her grandson who is currently a PreK student at WIA has been teaching and reminding her of all the beautiful lessons he has learned in Quran and Islamic Studies. This is the impact our students are having not just on their families but also surrounding communities and the society at large, bi'ithnillah. Your contribution will support the continuous education of current students whose families are finding it challenging to pay the full tuition. Any additional funds will go towards establishing a scholarship fund for the upcoming academic year. Your generosity will allow our students to continue to grow and flourish in an Islamic environment.
Please give today, share the link and remember that our beloved Prophet Muhammad sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Charity does not decrease wealth..." (Muslim).
