The Arnold L Anderson house is a historic building that was a neighborhood elementary school when it was built in 1896.
It has been used as a Girl Scout meeting place since World War II. The house is owned and operated by a Board of Directors .

Girl Scouting has a long history here in our town of Attleboro, and the Anderson House plays a very important role in that history. First, as the Capron School built in 1896, then as Attleboro Girl Scout council offices, and finally its' own independent non-profit organization that is run by a fully volunteer board of directions. we are proud that this amazing building has been the primary home for Attleboro Girl Scout troops for over 70 years.
As an independent entity, we rely primarily on community support and our own fundraising efforts. A large part of these efforts have been our annual Holiday Fair, and our Savers fundraisers. This year due to Covid, two out of three of these efforts were cancelled. We are so grateful and proud that through these trying times, we have still been able to keep this building available for troop use. The bills must still be paid, and we would like to be able to maintain this building for generations to come, especially as we look to celebrate our 125th year anniversary for this building! So, in true 2020 fashion, we take to the Internet to hold a virtual fundraiser with the support of our local Pampered Chef Consultant, Nancy Ross Bloch. Geography knows no bounds... You order here, and your package will be delivered directly to your door!
So, How can you help us? As you complete your Holiday shopping this year, please consider Pampered Chef. By making a purchase here, we will get a portion of the proceeds to help support and maintain our beautiful building for years to come! Thank you for your consideration!
