Hello all. American Legion Post #312, 437 Newport Avenue, South Attleboro, Mass. Is holding an Open House on the Third floor beginning Saturday July 13th.From 11AM-1PM. anyone who wishes to come in and see what we have to give away is welcome! We have Folding Chairs, tables of different sizes, and many other items of interest!

We are getting a Dumpster on Monday July 15th, and we will be disposing of anything that's left that we see fit to get rid of!

If you like to help, we will be onsite starting Monday July 15th through Friday July 19th, starting at 6PM. and Saturday, July 20th, starting at 10AM. All are welcome to help!!!

Hello all.
My name is Jim Connolly, and I have been selected to be the new bar manager at the South Attleboro American Legion Post 312. I feel honored and privileged to have been appointed.
There are many things I hope to accomplish at the Legion. I hope to increase fundraising events and continue with the current ones already in place. Thank you, Rob Silva.
Being a veteran, the one issue that I really want to do is to recruit additional veterans. I know they’re out there. I, we just need to find them and have them join. Tall task, but I’m up for the challenge.
Before I finish, I would like to acknowledge Rob Silva, the previous manager, for the work he put into the Legion. Unfortunately, Rob needed to resign due to work obligations, but his legacy will continue. He was responsible for many upgrades in the Legion. It included a new floor, fresh coat of paint, in the bar area, along with coordinating refinishing the floor in the hall, to name a few. He was instrumental in establishing new fundraising events. Including music bingo, line dancing, bourbon tasting, and bar Olympics. All of which were a huge successes and I plan on continuing those events going forward. We all owe Rob a collective “Thank you”!
In closing, please feel free to introduce yourself to me if we haven’t met as of yet. I look forward to it.

Interested in learning how to line dance? Now's your chance. The Tipsy Tailgaters will be doing a Beginner lesson workshop this Friday, June 7th, from 6:30-8:15 with open dance after.
