We as a food cellar have been so blessed with all the help from the community these past few months. When we needed our communities help we had so many people reach out to us asking what can we do? How can we help? You were an answer to our prayers. This Thanksgiving we are so thankful, more then thankful for all of you who have reached out, provided for, and helped in so many ways. It's true that it takes a village and I am thankful our village is Attleboro.
On behalf of St. Joseph's Food Cellar we wish you all a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!

Good Morning everyone!

The food cellar will be open Friday night from 6pm to 7pm. Since we have to stick to strick covid guidelines please dress appropriately. I believe we are expecting rain.

On Friday we will start registering families for our giving tree. You need to bring a birth certificate for each child in the household you are requesting gifts for.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation during these difficult times.

11/06/2020

Just a reminder that the food cellar will be open tonight from 6 to 7pm.

We will be signing our families up for Thanksgiving baskets this week and next week.
Please keep in mind we are due for rain/snow Friday. Please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if you have one. We have to keep clients 6 feet apart so we don't get shut down for not following covid regulations. This means we are unable to allow people to crowd the hallway as much as we would like to keep you dry and warm.
After the 2 weeks of Thanksgiving sign ups we will be doing signups for our Christmas giving tree. You will need copies of birth certificates for all the children in your household. We will be accepting children 16 years and younger.

Have a great rest of your week and we will see you Friday. 6 to 7pm

Good Morning everyone!
Food Cellar is open tonight from 6 to 7 pm.
Please remember your masks, please social distance, and please dress for the weather.
Our continued gratitude to all our volunteers and generous community for all you do!

10/21/2020

Good Afternoon everyone!
Just a quick update and reminders.

#1 Covid is making it very difficult for our little cellar. In order to serve everyone in a safe environment including our volunteers we must keep our clients 6 feet apart. Since this is the case please keep in mind that during inclement weather we can not have clients bunched up in the hallway. Please be prepared with unbrellas if its raining and bundle up warm if it's cold. We try our best to get clients through as fast as we can but because we are seeing extra families coming through it takes extra time . Please be patient with us.

#2 We will be getting ready to put up our giving tree for Christmas soon. If you would like to sign your child up to receive a gift please be prepared to provide their birth certificate so we have an accurate count of gifts needed and ages. We will let you know when sign ups are.

#3 We will also be signing families up for Thanksgiving baskets soon. If anyone has extra stuffing, gravy, or cranberry sauce they would like to donate please contact me so we can make arrangements to be at the food cellar to receive them.

#4 Thank you to everyone who continues to donate items to the food cellar. The chips for the kids snacks have been a big hit and we are out. We have other snacks we can give to families because of your generosity such as cookies, fruit cups, granola bars, etc...with that being said if you are out shopping and happen to pass by the chip aisle and wish to donate a bag or two of individual chip bags for our school age children we would more then appreciate it.

The food cellar will be open Friday night from 6pm to 7pm. Please remember your masks and we look forward to seeing you!

10/14/2020
