Hey there climbers! 🧗🏼‍♀️

Want to avoid a pulley injury?? Your shoulder position can change the load on your A2 pulley.

Elbow winging changes the angle of the wrist, increasing the load on the flexor tendons and stressing the A2 pulley. Causes include “climber’s hunch”, upper back weakness, scapular muscle weakness, and training errors.

⬅️Swipe to see how bringing your elbow in closer to the wall will help with preventing an A2 pulley injury.

Do you have a winging elbow? Find the cause before you start to have pain!

Have other climbing or sports injury prevention questions? Let us know in the comments and we'll provide more quick tips!

Here's what you need to know!

Medicare will cover an annual physical therapy wellness visit. Here's how:

🔸All you need is a doctor who is currently treating you who would be willing to sign the physical therapy note.

🔹 A wellness visit allows the physical therapist to assess balance, strength, and flexibility, and give you exercises and lifestyle advice to stay fit and healthy.

🔸Whether you're wondering if you're ready for pickleball season or hoping to start a new gym routine, give us a call and we'll make sure you're in tip-top shape!
