Each day your child will be introduced to different artists and create one of a kind art based on the style and period of the artist discussed that day. This camp is designed for kindergarten through 4th graders.

Domestic violence crimes on the rise in Baton Rouge, police say Since last week, there have been five arrests and one death due to domestic violence, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Our Executive Director, Suzanne Hamilton, has been a part of her story since day one when she acted as her Victim's Assistant Coordinator within the District Attorney's Office. We love to see a strong survivor turning her tragedy into an opportunity to do good for her community. Way to geaux Angela!

Woman turns a tragic situation into an opportunity to help others February 22 is what Angela Gabriel calls her “re-birthday”. Exactly seven years ago she was shot nine times while lying in her bathtub. A victim of domestic violence.

💜 Dating violence is more common than you think, especially among teens and young adults. To help raise nationwide awareness, all of February is a focused on advocacy and education to stop dating abuse before it starts. The theme this year is "love like that". We know that love is more than a feeling; no matter how you define it, it is essential to ensure you are on the same page with your partner about the definitions and boundaries of your relationship.

💜 Teens and young adults express their love for one another in many ways, which differ from person to person or community. All expressions of love are valid. However, the essential aspect of “Love Like That” calls on us all to create a world of positive actions to express and show healthy love.
