Soror Johnson is a Spring 2023 initiate through the Baton Rouge Delta Alumnae Chapter. Since joining our organization, she has attended her first National Convention this past July, where she had the pleasure of singing with the National Choir and participating in numerous workshops.
Soror Johnson didn't hesitate at the opportunity to serve as the ERT Coordinator for our Chapter, keeping members well-informed and safe. We are so proud of Soror Johnson for coming in as a hard-working member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorotiy, Inc. and Baton Rouge Delta. Thank you Soror Johnson for your willingness to serve.

The International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated to raise awareness, address the challenges girls face, promote girl empowerment, and fulfill the human rights of girls.

Step Afrika! is coming to Baton Rouge. Founded in 1994 by C. Brian Williams, Step Afrika! is the first professional company dedicated to the tradition of stepping. Baton Rouge Delta Alumnae Chapter is excited to start our sorority year by congratulating Erica L. Williams on being named Soror of the Month for September.
Soror Williams was initiated in Fall 1989 through the Pi Zeta Chapter on the campus of McNeese State University. She currently serves as our 2nd Vice President, overseeing our programs, planning, and committees and has worked tirelessly doing the work of Delta. Before being elected as 2nd VP, Soror Williams served as the Chair of Arts and Letters and was instrumental in assisting the chapter in receiving seed grant funding which went toward the purchase of our Little Library located at the Dr. Leo S.Butler Community Center. She remains an enthusiastic advocate for our Arts & Letters efforts! Soror Williams is committed and steadfast in everything she does. Whether it's, serving on the Membership Intake Team or managing the duties as Risk Management Coordinator, and all things Leadership, we thank Soror Williams for being you.

Congratulations to Baton Rouge Delta member, Taylor Mason, on completing her summer internship with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) under the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) in Baltimore, Maryland.
Soror Mason, a current student at the Southern University Law Center, gained experience through active litigation research, argument drafting and analysis, and worksite visits on ongoing projects funded by the FHWA.
Baton Rouge Delta proudly supports the as members attended its 20th Annual Fundraising Breakfast.
