Unstuck September Sundays Virtual Event: Part 1 - The Life of a Single Mom Join Jennifer Maggio, CEO of The Life of a Single Mom®, for a powerful, virtual series called, Unstuck Sundays in September. This four-part series will begin Sunday, 9/8/2024, at 6:30pm CST, where Maggio will be covering key principles from her latest book, Unstuck: For the Believer Who
Sadly, we have a generation of Believers who chased grace as a license to sin, lost a fear of the Lord, and exchanged prayer for entertainment. Many think they had an encounter with the Presence of God because the music was loud, and the lights were bright. Hours in the secret place cannot be replaced with convenience.
Praying over your children is essential, but the hard truth? Your faith can't replace their own. TLSM Featured Expert, Collette Conner, stresses the importance of teaching your children to build their own personal relationships with God in her latest article. Check it out at the link below!
Build Your Child's Trust by Collette Conner - The Life of a Single Mom One thing I learned as a single parent is that children have fears and insecurities when things come to disrupt their routine. When we take a look at the pandemic of 2020, children had to transition from going to a school campus to being taught from home. They went from having their personal

Mommas, when it comes to co-parenting well, find a way to keep the peace. Remember the bigger picture. At the end of the day, you both just want your children to be okay. Ephesians 4:3 says, “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in spirit, binding yourselves together in peace.” Finding a way to keep the peace and issue your ex some grace is important. What are some ways we can accomplish this? Comment below!
Have you forgiven your ex? Forgiveness is key when it comes to co-parenting well. When you forgive, you’re able to stop speaking negatively about him. It doesn’t serve your or your children. It stirs confusion and only puts pressure on your children and makes everyone around you uncomfortable. Yes, he may have hurt you, but forgive and change the way you speak over your situation.
Trying to navigate the waters of co-parenting? Remember: you can’t control him. You can’t change how he talks, him constantly running late, his new partners, or anything else in between. Watch your tone. Don’t reciprocate poor behavior, and don’t forget...your child is watching. How you handle this season of your life will affect how they see you, themselves, and how they will handle their own relationships in the future.

Momma, now is the time to go deeper with God. No longer can you rely on the faith of your mom. No longer can you be tossed and swayed when life's problems come. It's time for your faith to grow roots and TLSM Featured Expert, Stacey Jeannett (Single Parent Focus), shares how in her latest article! Check it out below.
No Longer Children by Stacey Jeannett - Single again, it didn’t take long to find myself back in an "adolescent-feeling" lifestyle. A Christian and doing all the right “things” for a decade, some may have said I was mature. I certainly thought I was. Yet my roots of faith were not well established.
There is nothing wrong with Christian counseling. I believe there is Scripture to support its value. However, many Believers are freely planting themselves under counselors who employ worldly or New Age practices and wondering why they still feel bound. Just because the term “Christian” is written in a bio doesn’t make one a born-again, Holy Ghost-filled, wisdom-seeking Believer.

God is always with us.
Too many Believers do not grasp the power of the tongue. Words fly flippantly without regard to the spiritual impact. We pray, then we cancel our own prayers. Think, long and hard, before you open your mouth.
Are you in the trenches parenting an angry child? Often, the anger that you are seeing goes deeper than you could even imagine. It's not about the toy you didn't buy or the fact that you embarrassed your teen by just breathing. Check out Jennifer Maggio's latest article by clicking below! 🔽🔽🔽
10 Ways to Deal with Angry Children by Jennifer Maggio - The Life of a Single Mom When I was a little girl, I hated when certain foods touched other foods on my plate. I do not mean I slightly disliked it or that it was a minor inconvenience or even an irritant. I mean, I would absolutely lose it, if my food touched. When I
Thank you for joining us today for this week’s ministry leaders! We hope that you are able to use this for battling The Hard Stuff. You have been put in this role for a reason and God will see you through it. Seek Him in all that you do and He will walk with you in this season. If you have followed along with us and don’t currently have a single moms group but would like to start one check out our website below for more information.

When things get hard that is when the enemy tries to sneak in and whisper his lies to you. You need to battle your thoughts! Meditate daily on God’s truth, not what is going on or what someone said. Do not allow these things to play in your mind on a loop. Focus on God, his Word, His truth, His love both for you and them, and watch the problem get smaller. The enemy’s lies are many, but your truth is based on what God’s word says about you. God calls you beloved, chosen, daughter!
When things are becoming difficult around your ministry, don’t ignore the conflict. Matthew 5:9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Peacemaking simply means you see a challenge and start a conversation. Pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and the right words to say. Then, healthily address the problem instead of emotionally.
Ministry leaders, stop comparing your ministry to others. Comparison is a trap from the enemy and will only make things hard for you! The more you look at others, the more discontent you will become and discouragement you will have. Stop focusing on what they look like today without knowing what yesterday looked like or what they went through to get where they are. God is the God of more than enough. He will do exceedingly, abundantly more.
Dealing With the Hard Stuff in Ministry? Remember: you are not the Holy Spirit. You, alone, cannot fix anyone. When we try to step in and take control, we don’t leave room for God to move. Don’t be discouraged when things don’t go according to YOUR plan. It’s God’s plan and on His time. Continue to be His faithful servant and trust in Him.
