Jesus Christ knows us perfectly. He knows our pains, sorrows, failures, and weaknesses.
He knows because he suffered for us, so that he could know us personally, and reach out with love when we need Him most.

I have the one of the greatest fathers in the world, Randy Garn. He has taught me so much. How to ride a bike, how to fish, how to talk to people, how to look for the good, how to serve others, and most importantly how to follow Jesus Christ.
He has been the greatest example of devotings ones life to Christ. He is the best father I could ever ask for. Charity leads him in all he does. I know God had a plan for me because he gave me such a wonderful father to help guide me through life.

Hi, my name is Sister Sherwood !!
I know that families are eternal and essential to God's plan for us. Families come in all different sizes, there's one thing I love about families: they are perfect for you. We all have a family that is just right for us. Even though there are times when you don't feel like your family is right for you just know when God was picking your family he wanted people who would love and care for you. In a family there are highs and lows but when Christ is the center of the family we are able to have love in our home.
Some things I love to do with my family are play sports and have dance parties. I think of how loving God is to give us families, we are able to have built in best friends. I know that here on earth we have families to rely on and help us grow. And when we lose family members it's not the end, we have the opportunity to see them again and to be able to have forever dance parties. That's one of the biggest blessings in my life! I know that when time comes i'll be able to see my loved ones again and we will be able to have forever to be with each other. No matter how long it's been since you've seen them it will only feel like a few minutes. I know this because of the love God has. He never wants us to feel or be alone. He gave us these eternal family's so we wouldn't have to be. I know and can't wait for the chance I have to spend forever with my family. When we keep the covenants and commandments of the lord we will all have this special opportunity.

Today I want to share my testimony about how aligning our will with Jesus Christ can change us & bless our lives. I love this definition for what aligning our will to God is "God uses love-inspired correction to guide us to a future we do not or cannot now envision but which He knows is the better way for us".

For most of my life serving a mission was always apart of my plans but as the years went on my mission started fading into the background. Life was good, I loved my job, I had great friends around me, I was doing good in college, I was traveling & I was happy. In other words my life was comfortable. I was living the life I wanted, everything revolved around me! Months leading up to deciding to serve my mission I experienced the power of Grace in my life. I knew I needed to leave behind my desires and let Jesus Christ take over! I did as the Prophet Nephi teaches us in the Book of Mormon "reconcile yourselves to the will of God".Now 7 months later im on a mission & my life is completely different almost nothing is the same. It has not been easy, actually its been the hardest thing I've ever done. Over the last 7 months I've experienced complete change through the atonment of Jesus Christ. Change isn't easy, it can be painful, uncomfortable, uneasy & just straight up hard, but there can be pure joy found in it !! Its possible through Jesus Christ! Sometimes He leads us down paths that we dont want to go down, are scared to go down or dont think we could ever possibly go down and make it out on the other side. Because He loves us & knows us perfectly he provides us with opportunities to stretch, develop, grow and ultimately become more like Him. Im forever grateful I decided to allow Jesus Christ to author my life, because of it I've grown in ways I never imagined & never knew I needed. I have experienced pure joy and peace. Ourselves and our lives can be changed for the best as we choose to trust and listen to Jesus Christ, as we choose to walk side by side with him each day instead of walking alone!

I know we have a Heavenly Father who loves us each personally, because he loves us he has given us a perfect plan of happiness. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior. Because of Him and his perfect atonment we have endless opportunities to change & become the people we need to be.I know one day we will be perfect even as he is. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is restored here on the earth today to help lead and guide us safely back into the presence of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. I know that as we give our will to the Lord & follow him he will make more out of us and our lives than we can imagine, we can experience real and true lasting Joy.

I know that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us dearly and unconditionally and individually. I know that He has a plan for His children. Im grateful that He sent His son Jesus Christ to be our savior--to save us from spiritual and temporal death, to comfort us, to heal us, to improve us. I know that part of gods plan was to provide a restoration of Christs church that had fallen years after he was crucified.

The restoration is ongoing. The church of Jesus Christ was restored through Joseph Smith who became the first prophet of the latter days. We have a prophet now in our day just as we read about in the Bible--Russell M Nelson. I know that He receives revelations for the church from God and leads Christs church in the way Christ would if He were living on earth today. If we follow the counsel of the prophet, we are following Jesus Christ and will be armed with protection and spiritual power to overcome the adversary. God loves us and wants us to be truly happy. I know these things to be true and I say that in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

☆Have you ever wished you had more guidance in life?☆

I know I have! Although I am lucky to have the support of family and friends, sometimes in life I still need a little more guidance. The most powerful guidance that we receive in this life is from God, who is our loving Heavenly Father. One of The ways that I receive guidance from Heavenly Father is through reading the Book of Mormon!

The Book of Mormon is another testament of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Not only are we able to learn more of our Savior and strengthen our relationship with him, but we can receive personal revelation of our own when we read The Book of Mormon!

The Book of Mormon has been the most consistent source of joy and has blessed my life significantly. I know that it contains the fullness of Jesus Christ's gospel. It answers questions that can’t be answered elsewhere. If you want more peace, a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ, or if you want your life to be changed completely, read The Book of Mormon.

My favorite scripture is Enos 1:12. I like how it talks about us having to put in the effort. Only after we labor with all diligence and faith will the lord bless us with our desires. I think it is always a good reminder to me to always put in as much work as I can and that the lord will do the rest!

I believe that Jesus Christ is alive and aware of us. He was sent by the Father to atone for our sins and make redemption possible for each and every individual person. We are children of a loving Heavenly Father, entitled to incredible blessings, peace, and happiness through obedience, effort, and faith. I know that despite all my faults, shortcomings, and mistakes, I am enough and I am loved. I know that true joy is found in a life of trying to be like Jesus Christ, and loving like he did. God’s plan is perfect, even though our earth life won’t be. Families are forever, progression is unlimited, and joy awaits.
