Introducing “Saturday Spotlight,” where we will post photos and details every Saturday about a very special adoptable cat!

This week, we are spotlighting ZENON!

Zenon has been with Cat Haven since May of this year after being rescued by staff and volunteers from a hoarding case in Crowley, LA. When Zenon arrived, she had an upper respiratory infection and was quickly started on oral medication as well as medication for her eyes.

As you can see in her photos, one of her eyes looks a bit different than what you may be used to seeing. However, it does not seem bothersome to her.

She has settled in great with us but is ready for her forever family!

The best word to describe Zenon is AFFECTIONATE!

Anyone who meets her would say that she is very quick to greet you, and never wants to leave your side. She would be the absolute best companion for someone looking for a textbook “velcro” cat, your second shadow. If you are looking for a kitty that “jumps for joy” at the sight of you: look no further!

Zenon is thought to be around a year old and very petite at 7lbs. She gets along great with her Cat Haven roommates and should adjust well to a home with other cats too, with proper introduction of course.

UPDATE: We are out of dirty laundry! Thank you so much to all the folks that came to help! We may still need some help in the coming days but as of right now, everything has been picked up!

We need your help!! Our dryer has died and we have loads of laundry that still need to be done. We're looking for anyone to come pick up some laundry, wash and dry, and return it to us.
