Skyler's smile remained on her face throughout the entire bike presentation. The joy at the park was palpable, with her family, therapist, nurses, donors, and volunteers all cheering and celebrating this special moment with her. Everyone was so happy for her, and it was a heartwarming sight to see!

For those who don't know we recycle adaptive bikes! When a child out grows their bike, we put the child back on the wait for a bigger bike, and then deliver their old bike to another child in their area. Once we get a child riding, we want to keep them riding.

We serve children with disabilities such as but not limited to cerebral palsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, down syndrome, genetic disorders, etc.
Adaptive bikes are in physical therapy clinics and the children’s favorite exercise. They should be able to have one at home to gain strength, build muscles, ride with family and friends, and be able to get physical activity outdoors.

"I want to thank you and the McLindon family again for helping me get this awesome bike. I am excited to use it this summer. I was born with cerebral palsy. I communicate with speaking devices. I have a cool wheelchair that allows me to stand up whenever I want. I live in Denham Springs with my husband Brandon. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor's degree in English and minor in history. I was Miss Wheelchair Louisiana 2015 and I won 4th in Miss Wheelchair USA. I was also ambassador for Very Special Miss Louisiana pageant in 2017. I am a writer for 225 magazine and a social media manager for a pottery art studio called Brushfire Art Studio. I'm also writing a graphic novel. I love traveling and trying new things. My biggest goal in life is helping young disabled individuals learn that nothing is truly impossible in life."
