Progression Church
We exist to help people follow Jesus, find community, unleash their gifts, and make disciples.
It's an HONOR to get to teach kids about Jesus each week. Make sure they make it to P-Kids this week for a special lesson!
50 % chance this was after Pastor said:

What's it like to come to Progression Kids? Your child will open the Bible and learn. They will also have a great time!
We love supporting our people. Take a moment today and encourage someone who has supported you recently.
Daniel's story: “A big way God has changed my life through Progression is being a part of a church. I’ve been a regular attendee of churches since childhood, but never really felt apart of one. That changed when I started serving at Progression. Service (in the worship team and college group) helped me make friends who build me up in my faith and give me opportunities to return the favor. I’ve learned that church membership is more than just showing up on Sundays, it’s also serving the body of Christ with fellow members of the body.”
We cherish the opp to minister to your family! All of our Progression kids classes are excited to serve you this Sunday.
Just know before you arrive on Sunday, you've been prayed for!
Here's SEVEN BIG things that God did this semester at Progression:
+ We saw 96 guests because you invited.
+ We saw 20 respond to the gospel because God still SAVES.
+ We saw 16 complete Next Steps.
+ We celebrated 5 baptisms.
+ We ordained a new elder.
+ We had two people commit to seminary (starting in the Fall)
+ We had 46 people in discipleship/mentoring relationships.
God blessed us mightily this Spring.
Take a moment and thank Him for using our church for His glory and for the good of many in our city.
Taylor's Story: "Since coming to Progression almost 4 years ago, I have grown so much not only in my faith but the way I walk and live out my faith in Jesus. Progression truly is a place where the Holy Spirit dwells and the people of God commune and connect and build and live together. I have learned to be authentically me while being changed by Jesus from the inside out, giving the Holy Spirit permission to do whatever God wills to do inside of me and through me. I am still currently learning to be Holy Spirit lead and I have been seeing fruit such as just being more sensitive to Him and doing little things such as being kind even if it’s just helping someone or saying hello to a stranger and asking them how they’re doing. It all matters so much to Him and recently it has begun to matter so much more to me as well. I’m grateful."
Tomorrow is a special day for us. Family worship at 10:30 AM and John and Cassidy are getting married that afternoon! Excited for what God is doing in and through us right now.
Show some love for Owen this week. He was ordained a REV in January and today is getting his PhD! We are proud of our college pastor; Dr. Rev. Owen.
Jesus said we should be known for our love for one another. We take that seriously.
Jana's Story: "I visited Progression during a time when I felt spiritually stagnant and needed a Godly community. Immediately I was welcomed into the church and found a small group. I love Progression because the church feels like a family. Every week I am encouraged in my faith and shown areas in my life where I can grow."
When we focus on Jesus, He changes our lives.
Join us this Sunday as we worship Him with all we have!
Gathering on Sundays right now feels like seeing some of your favorite people each week. If you are looking for a church family, just know you have a place here.
Pastor Brian is really excited to preach this week on Biblical LOVE. Text someone to join you on Sunday; you don't want to miss this week!
Celebrating with Jasmine was so sweet! Seeing people go public with their faith never gets old.
Jay's Story: "I came to faith the summer after my freshman year of college, after I’d been going to Progression for about a month and a half. I knew about God my whole life, but turmoil in high school brought me away from Him. I was brought back to Him after I started going to Progression, and God immediately started working in my life. Now that I’ve been saved for a little under two years, I can see the amazing work Christ has done in me. My anxiety used to control my life, but God has transformed my mind. I know now that the more I focus on Him, the more he makes my path straight. God has truly changed my life, and my faith has grown tremendously while being apart of Progression Church."
God’s been moving through our church!
Meet Aryel. She serves as Children’s Director at Progression Church. She is married to Ryan and together they have 3 kids. Aryel has a desire to know God and help others know Him through discipleship, from youngsters to young at heart. She enjoys traveling with her family and friends, and reading a good book.
Future world changers in this photo. Bring the whole fam on Sunday; God is moving greatly in our kids ministry!
If you haven't, meet Owen. He is honored to serve on the elder team at Progression Church. A few things about him: he loves chic-fil-a, reading books written by dead theologians (puritans), and exploring God’s glorious creation. A pastor during his college years really kickstarted his relationship with God and he truly desires to help college students do the same.
