We are truly Thankful to our members and the many opportunities we have to serve the community. Our chapter provided a Turkey, Ham and a Hi- Nabor gift card to a mother of 10 who will be able to prepare and enjoy dinner with her family. Gamma Eta Omega members also served at EBRCOA Highland Community Party Thanksgiving Celebration.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (R) South Central Region Cluster Retreat 2023 đź’•đź’šMaking connections as we SOAR to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. The cluster retreat is a time to gather to reflect on our service accomplishments while focusing on the work we all strive to do. Our chapter members participated in the Bishop Ott cluster service project by donating sheets for families in need.
We are THANKFUL for the opportunity to Serve! Today our members served 344 meals in collaboration with St. Vincent De Paul. Our chapter made a generous donation to the organization to assist them as they continue to serve the community .
Thank you to our wonderful members for making sure our CHIPP kids have enough meals/snacks while away from school for the next couple of days. The Friday deliveries are always a huge success!

Our Seniors shared another successful event on today. They participated in a “Health Talk”bringing awareness to maintaining a healthy lifestyle in all areas of life! Kudos to the wonderful Chair, Judy Pitts Reed on leading the group with tons of information.

Our Leaders saw first hand through the interactive lesson that positive words, effective communication, being solution focused and team work will always enhance their leadership skills!
Sunday Reflection of Service: Our members came together to serve 259 people at St Vincent De Paul.
Friday deliveries are the cutest for our CHIPP program in partnership with J. K. Haynes Leadership Academy. We are so proud of our Youth Leaders from YLI who joined in with us to make our packing a success!!

“Get up Mornings Talk Show “ with our member Erica Campbell was held at Southern University on today. After such an empowering morning, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated hosted a Breakfast Reception. We were honored to share this time with our sister in Greek Unity!
