🚨 Guess what tomorrow is??? 🚨September 1st and the day Your Barefoot Neighbor Amazon list goes live to provide us with beds for a year!!!! 🙏🥳🙌
The reasons why this is so important:
✔️ It provides reassurance for our social workers that the items are available if a need comes up, which is daily.
✔️ It takes pressure off of our board knowing we will not have to consistently seek them out.
✔️ We can use any potential grant funds and monetary donations for other pressing needs.
✔️ We started assisting a couple hundred children a year to now a couple hundred a month. This will allow us to continue to meet the growing need.
✔️ It is an opportunity for our community to come together and do something IMPACTFUL AND NOTEWORTHY. We all have the ability to make a change when we come together. We like to think we have and continue to prove that. Please join us in this historical moment!

Today, we had the opportunity to give back and present three grant checks to three deserving organizations, including Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Elijah's Closet, and the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence! Congratulations, everyone!

🗣 FINAL BED UPDATE!!! 🗣
In June we were overjoyed to receive a grant of $20,000 from the GivHer Circle via Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The funds from these amazing women made a huge impact along the Gulf Coast!
🛏 By partnering with them, we were able to provide a total of 252 BEDS!!!
❤️ 115 twin mattresses
❤️ 86 twin frames
❤️ 12 bunk beds
❤️ 20 cribs/toddler beds
❤️ 11 full/queen/king beds
We are amazed at how many people and agencies share our vision and mission. We are committed to bettering our community and we are so thankful for the partnerships along the way 🙏

🚨 Important Bed Update 🚨
As of Monday, August 27, we have officially spent the entire $20,000 GivHerCircle Grant! Gulf Coast Community Foundation 🎉 We are amazed at what we have been able to provide for the families in our community through the funds donated by this amazing group of women! 🤩More details coming soon 😄.
That being said, Social Workers, we are going to experience a short delay in beds as we eagerly wait to kick off Your Barefoot Neighbor Beds For A Year fundraiser! 🎉🎉
