🍃 Breakthrough on your healing journey along a beautiful spring fed river while sitting with Kambo medicine each day on an energy vortex at the convergence of two rivers. Experience a traditional sweat lodge ceremony in the evening. Work with the Amazonian medicines of Sananga and Rapé. Connect with others on their path at the nightly sacred fires.

🍃 With over 40 acres of lush TN Cherokee forest to hike and explore everyday there is space and time for your own personal integration. This retreat is focused on fine tuning those areas in your life.

🍃 We provide a personal tent for those who do not have one, access to the surrounding nature, access to the sauna, and 2 full organic vegetarian meals each day. Option for a morning and afternoon Kambo session on the last day.

Rapé (Ra-pay) or Hapé (Ha-pay) is a to***co based s***f that contains different types of medicinal plants and alkaline ashes. Tradionally used by many tribes in the Amazon.
Hapé elicits a feeling of alertness and elevation that surpasses most other natural plant-based effects. The effects of hapé are experienced rapidly and intensely because the powdered s***f is administered through the nose.

From the indigenous point of view, hapé is a sacred shamanic s***f medicine with profound healing effects. Hapé is made from different medicinal plants for different purposes – to induce visions, to have energy, and to enhance the senses with the aromatic fragrance of the plants used in the blend.

It is used before Kambo to ground, center, and prepare the body and the mind for ceremony. It can enhance the prayer of the ceremony sending one into deep meditation while clearing blockages within the energy centers.

It helps focus and sharpen the mind by realigning your energetic field. It detoxes both the body and the mind by clearing the sinues of mucus and bacteria provides a calming, grounding effect on the emotions.

🌎 The Womb of Mother Earth

🔥 The Temazcal Ceremony also known as the Sweat Lodge is an ancient purification ceremony from the indigenous native peoples of North America and Mexico in which we symbolically move into the womb of Mother Earth to be born again strengthened and renewed.  

🔥 In the Sweat, the stones are called the Grandfathers and the Grandmothers as they have been here since the dawn of time, listening and seeing all that the Earth has experienced throughout its conception. The knowledge is said to be activated by the heating of the stones and that is when the healing begins.

🔥 The Sweat Lodge is an invitation to journey inward, but also a holistic therapy that carries physical, psychological, mental, and energetic benefits.

🔥 It is a spiritual ceremony where we connect with our true essence through the four elements of nature (fire, water, air, earth), meditation, singing and prayer.

🔥 We Sweat with intentional actions and true reason. Offering and prayer is given before you enter and you must sit with your intention and desire to work for what you wish to receive. The stones are brought inside in an intentional sequence and once the door is closed water is poured on the stones along with sacred incense such as cedar or sweetgrass. After a while the lodge is hot, and you are struggling. The air above is burning and you can feel the stinging as you take the air into your nostrils. This is conscious suffering, done to honor those who don't have the comforts we do. We refrain from drinking water to honor those who don't have access to clean water, and pray for those who need it the most.

🔥 I always look forward to this type of ceremony as it is the ceremony of the warrior, the healer, the lover, the teacher, the guide, the leader, the apprentice, the suffering, the lost, the hurt, the confused, the scared, the man, the woman, the healed, and the blessed. This is a place for offering of prayers and setting of intentions. A place for those to break down their walls and open their hearts to feel and heal and be born again.

On the third day of the Fire Flies Festival I facilitated the largest ceremony to this date. It was a group of 11 from all around the US and many various countries. This was a gathering of young and old from age 15 to 55.

We began by sitting together and sharing intentions. It is always nice to hear why everyone chooses to partake in the ceremony, it was quite clear everyone was there with a deeper purpose.

I opened up the ceremony space with an intentional prayer. It is important to pay respect for the land that we are communing with and asking for guidance from the native spirits.

We then began smudging the space with sage, clearing the energy of the ceremonial space and releasing any negative or stagnant energy of those about to sit with this medicine. This smudging allows those participating to enter the ceremony with clarity and focus.

For many people it was their first experience with Kambo, yet everyone arrived with the purest intentions and true desires for healing. Many found what they were looking for.

It was an honor to hold space for this many people and reassuring of the training I have received from the IAKP. Throughout this medicine journey I can feel my connection to the spirit of Kambo grow deeper and deeper which gives me new insight and intuition going forward.

Great work was been done here. With a deep reverence and honor we are saying a big thank you for all who received healing.
