Expert accountability is actually 3 levels of accountability.
Research and testing have shown that MULTIPLE LAYERS of accountability are necessary in order to change thoughts and patterns of behavior for permanent FITNESS success.
LEVEL #1 - Social Accountability because you need an exclusive group of people facing the same struggles and obstacles as YOU.

How much do you need to workout?
So I was talking to the other day about how we used to do 2-3 hours of cardio and 1-2 hours of lifting per day, 5-6x per week
The fact that I used to do more in one day then I do in a full week now is insane to me
So that begs the question, how much do you really need to do?
The pictures above are my current physique while strength training an average of 3.5 hours per week (3-4 1 hr workouts)
I think I look half decent and statistically I’m putting in about 1/7th of the activity
But here’s the thing… It would be extremely difficult to maintain this physique if I didn’t put in massive amounts of work and volume for the last 5 years
So what I want you to do is think about your fitness like investing
The more effort you put in early on, the more compounding interest you will have
Now go put in some work 💪🏼

In the realm of business, trust is the foundation on which strong client relationships are built. How can a client trust someone who has never been in great shape, to get them into shape?
When it comes to gaining trust, actions often speak louder than words.
I’ve seen gym members look at a trainer and say “wait, that persons a trainer?”
Don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to do competitions or base your entire identity around fitness, but you should be more than capable of demonstrating every movement you teach as well as have the discipline to keep yourself in shape.
Simply put, clients are more inclined to trust someone who has a proven expertise and a thorough understanding of how to get them to their goals. Your insights, thoughtful solutions, and quality of work will always be stunted if you’ve never walked the walk.

It’s been awhile since we posted a client success story but don’t worry, they’re still rolling in!
I say “success story” because not every transformation has to consist of massive weight loss.
This client came to us with a 6-month goal prior to going abroad for work
What were her goals?
🏋️♀️Gain knowledge around training so she could sustain it on her own
🥙Create balance around food and eating habits
🚶♀️Improve daily activity outside of training sessions
💪🏼Recomposition her body while losing 5-10 lbs
I’m happy to say that she accomplished all of those things!
So, how did she do it?
✅ 2x per week training at and 1-2x per week on her own
✅ Followed a sustainable meal plan with tons of swaps for her favorite foods
✅ Set a minimum daily step goal
✅ Recorded weight and took progress photos to ensure accountability
As much as we miss her, our goal is to always help people achieve their short term goals AND set them up for future health and success!

Who do you become in the process?
In our fast-paced world, we often become fixated on the end result. We chase after the success of the end product, all while overlooking the journey itself
Well I know, and I think I’ve always known, that the process is where growth and transformation occur, where we truly learn what we’re made of
I even remember as a kid, I would obsess over movies and documentaries that had “come-up” stories
But as soon as they won something, my interest faded.
And the process is what first brought me to bodybuilding
It takes time, patience, and some real work to achieve a low body fat and a certain level of muscularity
Even after playing high-level college basketball, I can easily say that competing is the hardest physical and mental endeavor I have chosen to put myself through
Any endeavor that is truly difficult will test you in so many different ways, but you will always look back on those times and feel the most connected to them and the people you experienced them with
In the end, when we look back at our lives, it is often not the end result that holds the greatest weight. Rather, it is the person we have become, the values we have cultivated, and the impact we have made. The growth we have achieved along the way is far more valuable than any accolade or achievement.
