BU Marching Band Camp could use a nice serving of ice cream! Join fellow alumni from BU Bands Alumni Network and help put on an ice cream social for the BU Marching Band to cap off their week-long band camp! Registration is now open and closes this Wednesday! As a treat for the alumni, we’ll also catch the end of the last band camp full ensemble rehearsal and get a sneak peek of the BU Bands 2023 marching band show themed:

WE'RE BACK BABY!!! All-Alumni Pep Band returns on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 against long-standing rival Cornell University! This game is going to be electric! Registration will open soon, and we want to see the alumni in full force! And if you're worried that you're too rusty on your instrument by a year or even ten, don't worry! We want to see any and all alumni come out and perform - we'll have a mini-rehearsal before the game as well to warm up.

Thank you for coming back home to BU Bands this weekend. Whether you posted your old band memories from around the globe, danced to a fourth period show in 118, got kicked out of Cornwalls at 2 am, tuned into the concert, or raised a glass at our dinner, your presence added life to what could just be a date in a book.

There will of course be pictures, videos, and a formal thank you to come, but today, as we all slowly return to our everyday lives, we hope everyone is carrying with them the memories of the special time we shared this weekend.

IT'S BACK ON! Boston University Bands and the Alumni Network (BUBAN) are looking for alumni volunteers to assist in getting the word out surrounding the highly anticipated 100th Anniversary of Bands at BU, postponed due to COVID to October 2022 (one year from now!).

You *do not* need professional communications experience, and will be supported by chairs of the committee throughout the year.

If interested, or even if you are on the fence, please consider joining us on Zoom on November 18th, 8:00pm EST (to hopefully be a little more reasonable for our West Coast friends) to learn more about this volunteer opportunity and hear from the Boston University Bands on the importance of this initiative.
