Today we celebrate the feast of Saints who truly changed the Church- St. Peter and St. Paul. Though both men have their own separate feast day, there is early evidence of a storied tradition of celebrating the solemnities of both Saint Peter and Saint Paul on the same day. Together, the two saints are the founders of the See of Rome, through their preaching, ministry and martyrdom there. They changed the course of the Church. Gracious God, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your countless blessings. Teach us to embrace others for who they are, knowing that we can only control our own actions and responses. Help us to respond to others with understanding and compassion, reflecting Christโs love in our interactions. May we lead with love and light, setting an example of kindness and grace in all that we do. Guide us to be instruments of Your peace and ambassadors of Your love in the world. Amen.
