Everyone join us in welcoming our new Pelvic Floor Therapist Madeline! 🎉 Madeline discovered her passion for treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction on her first clinical rotation, where she saw how much of an impact therapy could make on pregnant and postpartum patients. Madeline believes all people deserve a safe and welcoming environment in which to spend their appointments. She is passionate about assisting patients in regaining bladder, bowel, and sexual function. We are so excited for her future here with Emerge! 💪🏽💚

What happens to body fat when I exercise⁉️Why is exercise beneficial when trying to lose weight⁉️Better understanding your body will help you meet your goals safely and efficiently. Body fat is a high energy fuels source, BUT it’s not quickly converted to energy. This is just the surface level so don’t hesitate to ask questions!

Emerge Physical Therapy & Wellness is happy to welcome our new physical therapist Nick Barin, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert-CFMA. He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist as well as certified in Dry Needling 1 and Dry Needling 2. He is trained to provide manual therapy techniques including joint mobilizations, joint manipulations, dry needling as well as prescribe therapeutic exercises required to assist his patients in returning to their premorbid functional level activities. Nick’s treatment philosophy derives from his clinical experiences within the sports medicine and orthopedic fields and draws from evidence-based practice guidelines to ease his patients’ return to independent and functional activities. He enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, but particularly enjoys working within the sports medicine field. His interests include working with CrossFit athletes, power and Olympic weightlifters, overhead athletes and recreational runners. 🏋️‍♂️
