Brothers, John and Doug Durbin, apprentices in the late seventies, have devoted their careers to crafting cabinetry, millwork, and furniture. In 1983, they established Exclusive Woodworking, specializing in fine cabinetry and millwork. Five years later, they launched nuHaus in downtown Chicago. Both companies, family-owned and operated, reflect the Durbins' unified vision and respect for their craft.

In every home works on, special details are always incorporated. In this Highland Park home, we crafted a functional and visually appealing TV stand. The inset cabinet to the right of the TV features brushed stainless steel and acid-edged glass.

Working closely with the homeowners, we at designed a space that perfectly matched our client's preferences. All the millwork, cabinetry, and ceiling were done by nuHaus to add a personal touch. Additionally, custom-designed hardware wrapped in leather, designed by Doug Durbin, was included to ensure the space fulfilled our client's vision and more.
