ICYMI... released an article on our blog about boundaries.
Boundaries have been a "hot topic" in the wellness and therapy world for a while, so rather than give you information you're probably already familiar with (if not - there are some amazing experts out there; a few are listed in the blog), these are a few gentle reminders to take with you. Protecting your energy is worth that time!

Yoga + A Chair is our weekly class offering with Shanna that combines movement, breath, and meditation with the use of one of our favorite props (you guessed it) a chair!
Like any prop, utilizing a chair during practice allows for options, modification, and compassion. Normalizing the use of a chair in asana classes reiterates the unifying message of yoga: come as you are, you are welcome here.
Join Shanna every Monday at 5pm for Yoga + A Chair - schedule your class here: www.roomtobreathechicago.com/schedule

Starting August 1st, we'll no longer be using this handle - you'll see all of our therapy content at ! Give us a follow there so you don't miss out. We're excited to share the full rebrand with you next month!

"As therapists, we process with folx the “standards” that are set for them in society or communities that are proclaimed as healthy or expected but are really impossible and designed to exclude, reject, and shame a person. So, I don’t think it’s letting ourselves off the hook – I think it’s about centering humanness."
Dr. Erica Schweitzer deconstructs the mythical "good enough" on our blog. Read the full blog post on our website: https://center-chicagocbm.com/blog/good-enough
