It's finally here! It's opening day of the 2024 Babe Ruth Softball District 10 Tournament at Creed Fields Park. Here's tonight's rundown:
📣OPENING CEREMONIES
Opening ceremonies begin at approximately 5:15PM as we introduce each team participating in the 10u and 12u tournaments. Welcome Floyd County Parks and Recreation Pulaski County VA Parks & Rec Newport, Va Sports Christiansburg Parks & Recreation

🥎 FIRST PITCH
Our ceremonial first pitch(es) will be done by members of the 2024 Pioneer DIstrict Tournament Champions, the Eastern Montgomery Varsity Mustangs!

💲 FREE ADMISSION
You read that right, there is no gate admission for this year's tournament. Bring your whole family, friends, etc.

🍔CONCESSIONS
Our friends with the EMHS Athletic Boosters will run our concession stand this tournament. Since there is not gate admission, you can spend that extra cash on some yummy food!

🥵 HOT
It's going to be hot this entire weekend, please say hydrated and feel free to bring water, cooling towels, etc. There is plenty of seating beyond the dugout down the sidelines and behind both fields...even a walking track. There will be room for pop up tents, folding chairs, etc. The seating behind the backstops will be limited.

Our offices will be closed tomorrow, Wed June 19th 2024 for the holiday. HOWEVER, the Frog Pond Swimming Pool will be open with normal hours 11am-6pm.

Swimming Lessons Montgomery County Parks and Recreation's swimming lessons are American Red Cross. Lessons are designed to help the participant grow as a swimmer, and learn competence in the water. Swimming is a great way to stay in shape and encourages sportsmanship and strong character.

Anyone lose their Honda key? This one was found at Creed fields. Call the office or come by to claim!

Help us spread the word! We are in need of umpires for our 10u baseball (Ripken Minors) and 10u softball (Babe Ruth Softball) games at the new 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊 in Elliston.

We have a brand new park, first season with night games and a bunch of excited Mustangs ready to play ball! The only thing we are coming up short with is some umpires for the games themselves. The last thing we want to do is cancel games on the youngsters.
