It's ! Take a look at this bird's eye view of Montgomery County Parks and Recreation's latest addition to facilities, Riner Park. Located on Route 8. the park is approximately 35 acres with a variety of features, including four baseball, softball, and multi-purpose fields with lighting; a picnic shelter; a playground; restrooms; over 300 parking spaces; and walking trails.

Update: July 19, 2024, 5:15 p.m. - The boil water notice has been lifted for PSA customers in Riner. The PSA has concluded its sample water testing in adherence with state and federal guidelines. Update: July 19, 2024, 9:30 a.m. - The boil water notice is still in effect for PSA customers in Riner. Due to the dry weather conditions our community has been experiencing, the water table levels have been dropping, causing dirt to enter the water in the existing well systems operated by the PSA.
Water samples from the Riner well systems continue to be collected by the PSA and provided to VDH. Each time water samples are collected, it takes 24 hours to receive the results. Your patience through this process is greatly appreciated. Riner PSA customers will be notified once VDH determines the boil water notice can be lifted.

The Montgomery County Public Service Authority (PSA) has issued a boil water notice effective immediately for all customers in Riner.
This boil water notice will remain in effect until safe drinking water test results occur from water sampling tests conducted by the PSA. All water samples collected will meet state and federal drinking water standards before the “boil water” notice will be lifted.

**UPDATE, Nov. 30**
Due to the impending weather forecast, the Plum Creek site will be closing on Friday, Dec 1, at 1 p.m., and will remain closed through the weekend. The site will reopen on Monday, Dec 4, at 1 p.m. All other county collection sites will be open and operating on their regular schedule and can be utilized during this time. Thank you for your patience as crews work to complete the paving project at the Plum Creek site.

❗️ The Plum Creek Consolidated Site will be closed Monday, Nov. 27 - Friday, Dec. 1 for paving. The parking lot at that location will be used as an alternate location to dispose of household waste and single-stream recycling.
