Hoagy's All Americans

Hoagy's is excited to hold HitTrax Softball and Baseball fall hitting leagues!
These leagues are intended to be a FUN way to practice. Each age group will consist of 4 teams with 4 players each. There will be 4 "regular season" games, 1 week for home run derby's, and 1 week for playoffs.

Alexa graduated from Oregon in 2014, where she was 1st Team All-PAC, 1st Team All American and Academic All-American, was a part of 2 WCWS appearances, 2 PAC 12 Championships, was on the 2012 All-World Series team, and then played 6 years professionally in the National Pro Fastpitch League.
She coached 3 years at a D2 school after college and will have the honor of being inducted into University of Oregon's Hall of Fame this October.
Since retiring, she started the USSSA fastpitch program in Oregon and have worked as a hitting coach/swing analyzer for The Hitting Vault, giving lessons on the side.

Ted Cox has a passion for helping people achieve their performance and wellness goals. Over the years he has worked with a wide range of clients from high school/college athletes, powerlifters, fireman, police, special forces, and general populations both In-Person and Online.
Teddy has blended his personal experiences as an athlete with his education to help people obtain their performance goals. His specialty is finding individuals weak points and strengthen them so they can function better and be more resilient to injuries.
Teddy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Capital University where he played football as defensive back and track as a pole vaulter. He then went on to Rock Mountain University of Health Professions where he obtained his Master's of Science in Sport Performance.
He is NSCA-CSCS, Precision Nutrition Level 1, NASM-PES, Pain Free Performance Specialist certified!

Meet Coach Holden Martin!
Holden will hold hitting, pitching and fielding lessons at Hoagy's.
Entering his second year as lead assistant at Capital University, in charge of the oversight and development of the offense and infield play.
Martin went to Capital after most recently serving as the graduate assistant coach at fellow OAC school Muskingum University. At Muskingum, Martin oversaw the pitchers and served as the team’s academic coordinator.
In addition to his time at Muskingum, Martin has gained coaching experience as the
head coach of the Owensboro RiverDawgs and as a pitching and hitting instructor at
The Garage Baseball Facility in Clarion, Pa.
As a collegiate baseball player, Martin excelled as a pitcher and infielder for the Muskies.
There, he was a four-year letterwinner and was named the OAC Pitcher of the Week on April 12, 2021.

Kegan is back with lesson availability 2 days a week!

Kegan is the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Worthington Kilbourne HS. He instructs hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching
He graduated from Thomas Worthington High School where he started on 2 OCC/District championship winning teams. Was 2x All-OCC player, 1x Team MVP, 1x All-District, 1x All-Metro and 1x All-State. Selected to play in Mizuno All-State Games and OHSAA District Games. He played one year at Otterbein University, then transferred to The Ohio State University where he started on the D1 Club Baseball team and won a Conference title, hitting over .300.

Meet Jonas!
Jonas will work as a Front Desk Assistant.
Jonas is a multi-sport rising senior. He attends Whetstone High School and Columbus State Community College. He plays centerfield for Whetstone baseball and is the back-to-back golf Columbus City League champion. He plans to go to college next year and major in Journalism. Jonas is enthusiastic about all sports and is excited to be a part of the Hoagy’s team.

Meet Scott! Scott will be at Hoagy's as a front desk assistant.
Scott is a multi-sport scholar athlete from Hilliard Darby. He will be entering his junior year, playing Safety for football and outfield for baseball. He also plays travel for Wow Factor baseball. Scott is hard working, dedicated, and passionate about all sports and strength training. He is hoping to play baseball in college and major in Computer Science/Cybersecurity.

Meet Nolan!
Nolan is a Senior at The Ohio State University with a passion for the game of baseball. With 9 years of travel baseball experience in Central Ohio and a 3 year varsity letterman at Westerville North, Nolan knows the work it takes to become great at the game. With previous experience in coaching, scouting, and in minor league baseball, Nolan is geared to ensure all our athletes have the tools they need to become great at Hoagy's all Americans.
