Congratulations to Jessica Thomas on being promoted to Senior Lecturer!

Today two new Lecturers join our EED community: Osman Bulut and Elizabeth Jergens. Osman will be teaching in our FEH sequence this coming year, while Elizabeth will be teaching in our FE sequence. Welcome!

We are thrilled to share that Meg West who is mentored by Dr. Rachel Kajfez successfully defended her dissertation! Her work using narrative techniques to explore the identity of K-5 teachers of engineering is a strong contribution to the field. Through her work, she explored different qualitative methods, examined the individual experiences of teachers, and synthesized her findings to develop recommendations for practitioners. Special thanks go out to her committee members, Dr. Emily Dringenberg and Dr. Teddy Chao.

Adithya Jayakumar, along with co-authors Yuvraj Singh and Giorgio Rizzoni, presented a paper on a new statistical approach to estimate coast down road load at the SAE World Congress in Detroit last week. The project was funded by the Ford Motor Company. Congratulations Adithya!
