Calling all golfers! Come and support Walking Shield’s 12th Annual Golf Tournament at Soboba Springs Golf Course on September 23, 2024. This event is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of golf while contributing to a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the American Indian College Access Program, helping to provide educational opportunities for American Indian students. Join us for a day of fun, competition, and community support.

Our OneSight Partnership Program provides free eye exams and free brand-new glasses for those who need them. The Pala Band of Mission Indians is our host this year. The OneSight vision clinic will be held from April 22 – April 26, 2024. Attached is a flyer with additional information including the location address and how to register, which we encourage you to distribute. Glasses are made onsite, and there are 100 frames to choose from. In addition, each person who receives an eye exam will also receive a gift from Walking Shield. We have approximately 600 appointments available, so please don’t wait. Join us and register today!

We have so much to be grateful for! In 3 short weeks we accomplished so much. Our Holiday Gift Distribution Program goals have been met! Thanks to our hardworking volunteers, our partners, tribes, tribal entities and friends, Walking Shield distributed over 23k toys to children all across Indian Country! It will be a beautiful Christmas for all. Thank you PepsiCo for keeping our volunteers hydrated. Your kind donation is more than appreciated! A million thanks to the Native American Toys for Tots Program for the incredible toys!!! Your commitment to bringing joy to the world is phenomenal.
